A comfortable room in a charming bungalow home in a quiet, established, residential neighborhood in Napa. The house is cosy and sits on an oversized lot that overflows with flowers, fruit trees, and native plants.

The Space

I have a comfortable private guest room in my home, that is yours to rent!

This home is in tree-lined quiet established neighborhood of 1940s era Bungalow homes, has an amazing garden and is close to everything Napa has to offer.

My home has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Your room is cosy and comfortable. It has one queen sized platform futon bed, a great closet with hanging and shelf space, a dresser, corner windows with good shades for privacy, a side table, and blanket chest.

Just to emphasize this again: THE BED IS A FUTON. It is quite firm to sleep on, if you have never slept on a Futon before.

The home has a remodeled bath, hardwood floors, a front porch with a porch swing, gas stove, washer/dryer, and 1940s character.

TV, cable, high speed internet, streaming netflix, and comcast streampix available. TV is in shared area / living room.

The back yard is large and private, and has a mix of sun and shade, sitting areas, a sunken fire pit, fruit trees, cabernet vines, native plants, a three-way arbor, meandering paths, patio, and lots of old world roses.

I have a very sweet, calm, well behaved labrador retriever. She is smaller (65 lbs) and calmer than most labradors.

The house has easy access to Highway 29 and wineries, and is close to everything. Downtown Napa is within long walking distance (1.4 miles), or within a short drive (5 minutes). For public transit there is "The Vine" bus service. Biking around town is also a great option.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions!

  • Charming little house with a great location near central Napa. Benefited by its safe on road parking and easy access to the wineries through the 29 and the Silverado Trail.
Enjoyed the newly refurbished bathroom and feels like Catherine has a clear interest in helping out her guests. Definitely made a difference to me.

  • Wonderful house and garden!! The hostess Catherine is a very good soul, loved speaking with her about her fruit trees in the yard and what her plans are for the future of the garden! Her dog is a sweetheart and very well mannered! Catherine makes a wicked Latte; I was ever so thankful for it and a wonderful breakfast of fruits, yogurt and pasteries after a night of wedding revelery!

One word of caution if you are taking a cab out of city limits to an event there is a $25 flat fee ( I went to the Carneros Inn which is only 2 miles from Catherine's wonderful little bungalow)
