Our stay in Rome was wonderful in particular because of Sara's hospitality and convinience of her flat. Trastevere was the right place for us. We liked to walk along its narrow streets with many taverns and small shops and to return here after seeing sights. Sara's studio is in the house which situated on the quiet street near the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere. The room is not large but cozy. We had almost everything which we need for comfortable stay. Sara did her best to make our stay pleasant, our communication with her was perfect. We strongly recommend this place!
This is a fantastic cosy place in Trastevere, Rome. It is just a block away from noisy crowded streets so quite night can be enjoyed. Sara was very friendly and made us welcome to her place with nice treats, all the utensils required are provided. Strongly recommended.
This was our second time at Sara's apartment in Rome. It was amazing , the place is very clean well equipped ,very close to all the magnificent areas in Rome. It was very quiet during night time although it is just two minutes away from the main square in Trastevere
Sara is a wonderful host, was very punctual to meet us and waited us with snacks at her place.
Every detail is very accurate about this listing and we would be more than happy to return again ! We can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anybody!
Sara has everything well arranged in advance. An email with clear instructions and a warm welcome by her parents. Good bed, good space and fine location to discover Rome on foot ! We have been many in the city and this area was a great base to come back to sleep. A place to recommend !
Sara's studio apartment is exactly as described--charming and in an excellent location--we walked everywhere and loved being close to so many different restaurants. We didn't actually meet Sara, but she was very helpful and helped us to book an early morning taxi on our last day. Sara's mom, Anna, was lovely. Everything was very clean and we appreciated the cookies on our first night. The only thing to note for people who may have back problems is that you are sleeping on a sofa bed--and this may not be as comfortable as a regular bed. And as other reviewers have noted, the shower is very small, but works well. Thanks Sara!
Sara was awesome! She answered all my questions before I arrived and sent very detailed instructions on how to get to her apartment from both airports and the train station.
The apartment was exactly as listed. The pull out beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The apartment was in a quiet street and we never felt unsafe. Sara also was very sweet and left some juice, yogurt, and cookies for us.
Trastevere is a great area! It's near an English-speaking university so many people in the area can speak English in case you're like me and don't know much Italian. There are a lot of cafes, restaurants, and bars in the area so you'll never lack somewhere to go. It's about a 30 minute walk to the Forum/Colosseum and to the Vatican.
I highly recommend this apartment if you're looking for a place to stay in Rome.

About the Host, Sara
Hi! I am a Law student and a Philosophy graduate. I worked in locals newspapers as journalist and then editor, I taught for a period Italian as foreing and second language and now I am a Host letting out my place to make my living until I am finished with my studies and ready to undertake new jobs (hopely as enjoying as hosting guests from pretty everywhere in the world). I love reading witty novels and boring ponderous essays; adore having a good chat and and a loud laugh; meeting new faces and getting lost in Rome and everywhere else. Well, enough as for me: hope you will like my city and my little flat and will feel a bit at home in it. Cheers!
