  • I had a pleasant stay. Public transport is close by and a supermarket is 10 minutes walk along the park. The room was as on the picture.

  • I stayed here for the convenience of being close to a conference at nearby Croke Park, which was a 10 minute walk away. The room is good value at the low price - don't expect luxury, but if you just need a place to sleep and shower then it's more than fine.

  • Accueil parfait! Hôtes d'une très grande gentillesse et flexibilité.

    Très recommandable :-)

  • I had a good experience, the room and the house was exactly as described and it was a nice bonus to have a fridge in the room . Cheers.

  • The room is basic, bathroom quite cold. Elitsa very nice and helpful. It worth it's price.

  • It's a B&B, very tidy and organized, but not too much clean. The room is cold but you can use an heater with a noisy fun, the bathroom is also cold.
I didn't actually meet Elitsa, she was out for work and there were only the housekeeper.
    It worths it's price.

    Response from Elitsa:

Calogero was a nice guest. But the house is not B&B and we do not offer breakfast. This is a guest house with self catering for all the guests. The house is cold when the guests do not turn the heating on ...

  • Pros: The room looked exactly like the pictures and the housekeeper seemed nice though we had a bit of a language barrier.
The room itself was a pretty good deal compared to other places in the city.
We decided to stay an additional night and Elitsa said the room was already booked but she let us keep our luggage in the living room until the afternoon while we waited for the check-in time at our new place which was really kind.

Cons: The room is sort of far from food. It's across the street from a Chinese take-away but if you want to eat anything else it's a 20+ minute walk.
The worst problem, however, was the shower. The hot water heater in the shower varied wildly in temperature. And seemed to have little regard for the knob that controlled the temperature. If you set the shower on cold, it would be freezing cold. If you set it anywhere on the hot side it would be boiling hot for 30 seconds, then drop to freezing cold, then return to hot, etc. To shower you have to jump under the water for the 5 or 10 seconds of warm water that happen between the cycles.

    Response from Elitsa:

Logan was a lovely guest who is always welcone back. I should add that there are a lot of restaurants, pubs, take aways and groceries just round the corner and it is unbelievable how he did not see them on his way to the city centre... The city centre is just 12 minutes walk if the right street is taken. As for the shower temperatures, they vary when there is a water supply cut scheduled by the local authorities.

  • Perfect place to stay! Close to city centre and very accommodating! The room was nice and warm as we were there in winter. Would love to stay again as our stay was only for one night!!
