The one bedroom apartment has hardwood floors,wireless connection,residential neighborhood yet near public transportation and we are about 2 miles from the beach. The kitchen has a microwave,2 burner hot plate and small fridge. All the linens,dishes,pots/pans are supplied.There is a dining room table w/four chairs as well as love seat and a couple of other chairs in the living room.There is also parking off the street available.We are in a very quiet area and the apartment is totally private you aren't sharing anything !!!We can also give you instructions on how to use the Big Blue Bus to get to the apartment from the airport for $1.50 !!!!
No smoking inside the apartment,I'm sorry we don't allow pets.
Karen was very nice and friendly and was at the property to greet us when we arrived. Had left us a nice bowl of fruit and snacks on our arrival and made us a delicious carrot cake on our departure!
Location of property was perfect for us and is situated in a quiet residential area. The facilities were adequate for our needs.
We loved staying there - the place was very quaint and had everything we (website hidden) better than staying at a hotel! The location was also great for getting everywhere!
Clean, quiet and peaceful apartment in great Westside location. Karen is a very well organised and hospitable host who added a personal touch including fresh fruit and delicious homemade granola! I had a very enjoyable time and would be happy to recommend.
Fantastic experience, very good communication. Beautiful home in a great part of Santa Monica. Apartment is in a nice and safe neighborhood. Very close to everything. Karen was very helpful host and was very accommodating to all our needs. I would highly recommend staying here.
I stayed at Karen and David's bnb for a week. When I arrived Karen was there to meet me in the drive way.
The photographs accurately depict a clean, uncluttered, airy apartment with plenty of natural light. Also, the absence of curtains and rugs makes it ideal for my wife with many allergies.
Everything worked just fine and the kitchen, although appearing to be small, was extremely user friendly. There is no stove as such, but the two element counter top burner along with the microwave oven was more than adequate for my needs. And Karen was always available if there was a question or concern. There is also an ironing board and iron, although not noted in the amenities.
I also now understand experientially what they mean by location, location, location. From their location you can walk in most any direction unencumbered with minimal concern. Being just off of Wilshire Blvd, there are many interesting stores, markets, and a major sporting goods store within a five minute walk. Not having to park out on the street was also a blessing.
Bottom line, I would like to return with my wife, and stay again before the year is out.
The apartment is located in the back corner of the lot so it off the street away from traffic noise. Very quiet. The rooms were clean, and the bed comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, if we chose to do so on a small scale. Plenty of towels were provided for use in the bathroom. There was adequate closet space for unpacking and living as if at home. I particularly liked the old fashion, hidden ironing board and the availability of an iron to spruce up suitcase clothing. Karen dropped off a loaf of home made banana bread which was a wonderful treat. It was a quaint home away from home, close to stores and public transportation. We will ABSOLUTELY stay with Karen again next time we're in town.
C'était ma première expérience Airbnb et vraiment je n'ai pas été déçu. L'appartement est conforme en tout point au descriptif et aux photos. L'environnement est très calme. Vous vous réveillez le matin au bruit des oiseaux ! L'appartement est clair spacieux et très bien situé pour naviguer dans le west Los Angeles. Karen est une hôte prévenante.
