Other Things to Note
We have taken great pride in trying to make everyone's stay a great one at Number 5 and know from our reviews and increasing return visits that we are achieving this. We would like to thanks all our guests for being such lovely people and making Number 5 their home from home in Buxton.
There is strictly no smoking anywhere in the building and we have neighbours below so late night partying is not welcome. The design is stylish and vintage and includes antique pieces which although not particularly valuable are precious to us and we trust you will respect this. We understand that accidents happen and all we ask is that you tell about any damage. Minor breakages will not affect your deposit.
The most exquisite apartment in the middle of Buxton - beautifully appointed, and Sarah had done everything possible to make our short stay a pleasant one.
Sarah's flat in Buxton is beautiful. She has given it all the little touches a hotel would give. Everything we needed was available and more! The kitchen was well equipped, the crockery was beautiful, the beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were lush. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyed stay. We may come back again and bring some other friends along. The town itself is lovely and welcoming and we used Sarah's local knowledge in finding nice places to eat. Thank you Sarah.
This flat is amazing! My husband and I together with another couple spent two nights in the flat and everything was spot on. The host was very friendly, happy to help with any questions and above all, ensured that the flat was perfectly prepared for our arrival. Would thoroughly recommend this flat to anyone looking for a nice getaway in the Peak District! Also we tried two of the restaurants recommended by Sarah and were really nice! Overall, very happy!
We had a lovely stay in Sarah's beautiful flat. From the moment I booked Sarah was helpful with instructions and local information. It's a lovely location, very quiet and the flat itself has everything we could have needed. Great shower and comfy bed! Felt very looked after and I hope to visit again soon.
Beautiful apartment, great location and a very good host. Would love to visit again. Thanks Sarah for your help.
We loved staying in Buxton. The apartment was fantastic, decorated with great taste and equiped with everything you need. Every night we enjoyed the fireplace in the cosy living room.
The neighbourhood is very quiet, though the centre of town is just a few minutes away. Fantastic walks can be found in the surrounding countryside.
We would definitely go back.
Very comfortable, great location, extremely well equipped, host was really helpful with great communication from beginning to the end of booking. Would highly recommend and hope to return!
Thanks for your review Emily. Good suggestion about the clothes dryer, I have put one by the washing machine and added a note to our information incase people know don't realise there is a washing line in the shared garden area too.
We hope to see you again sometime.
We are a couple from England with 4 grown up children. We love to visit different cities around the world and have a particular passion for skiing in the winter months. We have our own 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment available for holiday rental in the beautiful Peak District of Derbyshire in England and would consider a house swap if anyone wishes to stay in central England.
