Thanks to both Mr Kieran and Ursula for welcoming to not only their house but also to their family. It was an memorable stay for us and will remember this trip for lot of sweet memories.
Appreciate all your love, blessing and affection that will be in our heart for ever.
We arrived late afternoon to Kieran and Ursula's house. They are a lovely, warm couple and we felt right at home immediately. We had our own bathroom and area to watch TV as well as a bedroom for our son and a superstar one for us. Both were very comfortable. The views from the house are amazing! The whole area of the Mourne mountains is a gem and we can't wait to get back to explore further.
Very welcoming, amazing lovely couple who came to find us, offered us drinks and biscuits ( and hot cross buns!) in the evening and great local knowledge.
Daniel and his wife were lovely company. I enjoyed practicing my few words of French and learned they have a Gites of their own at home, so if we get the chance to visit Mt St. Michel which is nearby we will be booking with them on airbnb, a bientot, Kieran & Ursula
What an amazing place to stay, with amazing people, we felt like at home and slept like babies. Thank you so much for a warm welcome, the Irish tea and digestive biscuits at arrival made us already feel as at home, you are so nice people with nice and big heart, thank you for showing us the magic road, you took time for us and we appreciate a lot! we are very lucky with the attention you gave.
Take care of yourselves,
What a lovely couple, they arrived after a day's exploration of the North Down and the Mourne Mountains following an interest they had in the television programme "Game of Thrones". They made themselves at home, had a meal they bought in the village and were up the next day ready to explore Tollymore Forest park. Thanks to them and their special dark glasses we were all able to watch the eclipse together before they were on their (website hidden) va, bien, nous esperons!
Kieran and Urusla made me feel very welcome during my stay (Kieran took me to see some of the local sites - which I highly recommend)
Their home is relaxed and comfortable and the view from the sunroom is a must see.
If I'm ever back in that part of the world I'd stay there again
Ursula and Kieran were simply the perfect hosts. They provided us with a neat and very comfortable room and an adjoining bathroom. We met parts of their lovely family which were extremely welcoming and very nice to chat to. As we were travelling on a budget we were able to use their kitchen to cook our dinners which was really nice.
The house is located perfectly as a basis to discover the area of the Mourne Mountains and the Ring of Gullion.
Marlene and Michael were a lovely young couple who climbed Slieve Donard on the Saturday of their stay. Its the highest Mountain in the North and they contended with snow and strong winds and most especially got to the Top, the north face award goes to them, best regards to you & all the very best for the New Year, from Ursula & Kieran
