The Space

Confortable Single Room in the center of Rome, newly refurbished appartment, complete with double bed, wardrobe and desk, with a private bathroom, just a short walk from the most important sightseeings of the city and Termini Station where the trains from the Fiumicino Airport drops off, the location is extremely convenient for a quiet yet connected visit to Rome.
10 minutes on foot from the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps, 5 minutes on foot from Termini and Repubblica metro stations (line A) and Castro Pretorio (line B). Bus stops providing easy access to the Colluseum and Piazza Venezia situated only 150m from the apartment.
You can reach the Vatican in only 15 minutes with the metro or by bus from Termini Station.
It is a short walk to a supermarket, a great pizza spot, restaurants, gelato spot, McDonald's, pubs and a metro stop that could easily take you to all the main attractions if you didn't feel like walking. Everyone likes to stay near the train station, but this is just the perfect distance away.

  • Since I was in Leonardo's place for only one night and had to leave early by the morning, I could have my breakfast or even have a deeper impression about it. But during the short time I was there, everything was great: the location, size and confort of the room, facilities (private bathroom, kitchen etc.), location, check in time, cleanliness etc etc. Leonardo was friendly, helpful and very professional. Totally recommended!

  • We had a nice time at Leo's place. There was a mix-up with checking in but they handled it relatively alright, there was some minor inconveniences for us though. This is not a true B&B as there is no one living in the apartment, so it is more like a hotel.
Pros - great location, clean, large room, inexpensive
Cons - lack of hot water, towels don't dry, no one on site except cleaner in morning, wifi drops from time to time, private washroom is not ensuite, breakfast was small even for european standards
Overall we had a pleasant stay. Leo recommended a great restaurant close by: Al Forno della Soffitta...it was excellent!

  • We had a great time at Leonardo's!

The apartment is on the 3rd floor (no elevator) and it has 2 very big bedrooms. Each bedroom has a small TV, big bed and closet and its own bathroom - although the bathroom is not in the room, it is still your private bathroom. Also, there is a fully accessorized shared kitchen and a small dining area.
Even though it is not your own private apartment, there is a great sense of privacy in the apartment and in the building itself.

Nancy, the housekeeper, was awesome and she prepared breakfast every morning at the time of our choosing. The breakfast included tasty bread and various spreads and cafe latte.

The neighborhood is very close the center - a few minutes walk from the Republic metro station and villa Borghese gardens.

  • I had such a lovely and safe short stay at Leonardos. He was very good to take me on at the last second late at night. Was a real lifesaver! Room was spacious and spotless and comfortable.

  • Very clean place. small room. Have a to walk a bit to metro. Breakfast was reasonable. And, for the money, its good.

  • Fantastic B&B style room.

This is the perfect place to stay in Rome. It is just a short walk from the Metro which will take you to all the major sites. There are shops, restaurants, and bars all within a short distance.

The room is very large, clean and well lit. It can get a little noisy having the window open, but you are in Rome so that is expected.

The best part of the stay is Leo and his assistant. They could be kinder and more accommodating. A total class act! Upon arrival I had chocolates left for me, the breakfast scheduled to your convenience each morning is a great way to start the day, and the final night I had a bottle of wine waiting for me. I wasn't leaving until the evening and Leo even allowed me to store my luggage until later in the day. It's like staying in a fancy hotel with more privacy, comfort and at a fraction of the cost.

I highly recommend staying at Leo's place.

  • The room and bath were clean and comfortable. An easy walk to Rome Termini train station. Leo (email hidden)!

  • My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Leonardo´s place. We arrived late but he still greeted us. His place is close to Termini, so getting around Rome was easy. Cheap buses to and from the airport are readily available at Termini. Our last day we checked out and did some more sight-seeing while Leonardo looked after our luggage until we picked it up later at a time that suited us.

  • Good location (walking distance to Termini station, bus stop around the corner), very clean and well maintained with all your needs: full kitchen, wifi etc.

  • The room was big and comfy. The bathroom was clean. Everything was from walking distance. Thanks Leonardo!!
