Margaret's Bed and Breakfast, is situated off a quiet avenue 5 minutes walk from the centre of Fermoy town and the beautiful river Blackwater.

It is only a short, 25 minute drive (via motorway) to the centre of Cork City and a 30 minute drive to the beaches and coastline of County Cork.
It is ideally located only minutes from the main Cork to Dublin Motorway and, as such, is an excellent holiday location or rest point.
The B&B has Wifi and ample car parking and your host Margaret is super friendly and can provide you with tourist information about the local area.
Very nice B&B. Margaret's directions were excellent and when I arrived I received a warm and friendly welcome. The room was enormous and I was able to starfish comfortably in the huge bed! Nice quiet location off the main road meant I got a great night's sleep and Margaret's legendary full Irish breakfast is worth the trip alone. I would recommend a stay here to anyone and look forward to my next visit. As ever in Ireland, it's the host that makes the difference. Great value. Thank you Margaret.
This is a very nice B and B. Margaret came to find us when we got a bit lost and couldn't quite find her (sat nav sends you left at the top of Richmond Hill, but actually it's right, just opposite the school). We then had tea and cake on arrival, and she even gave us a lift into town. The next day we had a lovely breakfast served late morning at a time convenient to us, rather than the usual set times that many B and Bs make you adhere to. Nice spacious rooms and bathrooms too. Very good value for money.
Margaret was very accommodating. Her house was lovely with great furniture. We were very comfortable. She fixed us an enormous breakfast. Gave a great ideas of where to go in Cork and around the area. We had a bit of trouble finding the house. But once we did it was great. She also recommended a great restaurant for dinner that was close by.
Excellent accommodation .Margaret is fantastic host, very clean, spacious bedroom, bathroom.
Staying with Margaret at her beautiful BnB exceeded any expectations I could ever have about the ideal host. She is one of the most lovely, generous people I've come across in a long time. Her house and the room I stayed in were exceptional. Very cosy, warm and bright. The breakfasts Margaret cooked were fantastic also. When I arrived in Fermoy I told Margaret that I was tracking down some of my ancestral history in Fermoy and she helped me so much in my endeavours, we even managed to find and visit the house my ancestors lived in. This was something that really meant a lot to me and likely would never have come about if not for Margaret's kindness and generosity. She is a wonderful conversationalist and really does run a very impressive bed and breakfast that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thanks heaps again Margaret.
We LOVED staying at Margaret's Bed and Breakfast!!! She had a cute, charming place and it was in a great location for us!
The beds were super comfy and the room was HUGE!! We had tons of space-- also the bathroom was spacious as well. We had tons of space to spread out all to ourselves.
Margaret usually cooks a large breakfast in the morning, but we had to leave very early in AM-- so instead she set out plenty of food for us to help ourselves and to eat quickly on our way out the door.
She is a warm, accommodating host! We really enjoyed chatting with her and she has tons of fun stories. Also, she was quick to make lots of great recommendations on restaurants and pubs with live music. She even drove us to a dinner spot herself because she was worried we might have trouble finding it.
I HIGHLY recommend this bed and breakfast! We had a LOVELY stay and everything was absolutely perfect!!!!
Margaret was on holiday during our booked time and did not make proper arrangements with us or her fill-in hosts for our stay. We had a difficult time finding the B&B since the address said Cork, but the B&B is in Fermoy. We called many times, but received no answer.
That said, Margaret's daughter Lorraine was extremely helpful with breakfast, correcting the internet problems, and giving sightseeing recommendations.
The rooms were a good size, particularly the triple/quadruple room, and good accommodations were made for our baby. Cleanliness could be much improved and the building seems to be showing its age.
Overall, this was not a bad place to stay, but some of the other B&Bs we stayed at were much better.
