Patricia met me with a warm welcome to her home. Everything was spotless, comfortable and as described. I very much enjoyed my stay and learning more about Hawaiian culture from Patricia. I would recommend this top pick to anyone thinking of visiting Hilo.
Patricia was friendly and welcoming. She wasn't there to greet us, but sat down with us at table to share a glass of wine and some conversation with us when she came home. Her house was as described, and very comfortable.
Tricia was fun, helpful, and informative. Her Hilo home was conveniently situated so we could walk to the downtown area. It was comfortable and we would definitely stay again when in the Hilo area.
Patricia was a wonderful host. She prepared fresh papaya and bagels with hawaiian fruit jams and jellies. I did not have time to schedule a massage this visit but next time for sure. Loved her bookshelf and interesting titles.
The reservation was canceled 15 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Patricia is a great host, she is very friendly and nice. The house and the room was very clean and nicely decorated. I spent only one night at the place because I was traveling to different town but I felt very comfortable and safe staying at the place. I went out at night and she gave me the key from the house so I could get in. I will definitely go back if I will ever have to stay overnight in Hilo.

I'm Excited to offer a simple, inexpensive, and convenient room to travelers and others.
Hilo (website hidden) a great place. There's so much to see and experience.
As for me, I love to cook and enjoy eating healthy, locally grown foods. As my guest you are welcome to use the kitchen. Other interest include the ocean, crossfit exercise good movies, hikes, learning, growing....
I very much enjoy getting to know people and prefer 'real' conversations as opposed to small talk.
I travel a bit, mostly to visit family since they don't get to Hawaii often enough. I'm down to earth and a thoughtful, and a helpful host. Looking forward to meeting and connecting with you. E komo mai (come in)
