We just returned from our spring break trip staying at 500 Capitol Court, and we loved our accommodations. It was a bright, clean, perfectly located apartment in Capitol Hill, about one block from Union Station. Union Station is a train/metro station that also has a plethora of restaurants and shopping, not to mention fast/convenient access to the Metro and trains. There is also a luggage check at the station so that we didn't have to tote our bags around with us on the last day there.
The descriptions of the apartment were completely accurate. We absolutely loved the location and the quiet neighborhood. Union Pub, the bagette/bagel place, and Armand's pizza around the corner were fabulous.
My husband and I visited DC for five days over spring break with our 11-year son. Capitol Court was perfect for us! Charlotte and Kevin were professional, courteous and responsive -- every step of the way. The Welcome Guide that they sent ahead of time was a godsend. The apartment is tucked away in a quiet and charming neighborhood of rowhouses, only two blocks from Union Station. It was exactly as pictured -- well-appointed, tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. We were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the beds were, as well as the quality sheets and towels. It really felt like home -- cozy and comfortable, with a high-end touch. The only issue we had was that the wi-fi was spotty and very slow on all our devices. All in all, we had an exceptional experience at Capitol Court. We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay there again!
Great location! Friendly coffee shop and cozy Italian restaurant are just down the street. Union Station is a block away and the National Mall is only a few blocks further.
The place was very clean, nicely decorated, the bed was awesome and the host was super. We stayed 6 days so we saw most of DC but if we ever return we'll definitely stay here again.

Our latest addition are vacation properties for Washingtonians. See the Washington Vacations section on our website for homes in the nearby mountains. Take a few days away from the bustle of the city to explore our bucolic countryside little changed over the past 2 to 3 centuries. Visit wineries and orchards, significant Civil War battlefields and historic towns, hike the Apalachian Trail or follow in the footsteps of our founding fathers by visiting their homes. There is plenty to do that beckons you to leave the city for a weekend or a week.
A bit about me...I am a former Californian who, after 12 years in DC, is now an honorary Washington native. Being well traveled both domestically and internationally has given me a great appreciation for the enrichment contact with others brings to our experience. I am well-versed on the "must-see" sights, monuments and museums of our culturally rich city, along with the unique experiences your find only in Washington. We share that insight with our guests in our property Welcome Guides which we send upon confirmation.
We very much enjoy hosting visitors to our Nation's Capital and ensuring that they are able to make the most of their visit.
