Description

The space

This is a separate apartment consisting of a queen size bedroom, kitchen/living room and private bathroom with a shower. This unit has a separate entrance so there is lots of privacy.

It is newly remodeled and has a queen bed with a new european pillow top mattress, flat screen tv, wifi, ipod dock. I leave your kitchen stocked with tea, coffee, milk and breakfast items to get you started. The kitchen is brand new and has a refrigerator and microwave. There is a wall of windows/french doors so there is lots of light.

I am installing a washer and dryer in this unit but in the meantime feel free to use the one on the upper unit.

There is (email hidden) bed and all the asosciated linens for an extra/third person.

There is street parking and no permits needed. There is often a spot directly opposite the car deck. If you are arriving very late at night let me know and I will give you my space on the deck and take a street spot.

Sausalito is really a fishing village and is twinned with Portofino, Italy - you get the picture. There are great restaurants 3 blocks away with..

- Cafe Divino - italian and live music
- Plate Shop - cocktails and american cuisine
- Sartaj - locals pit stop - amazing indian food
- Cibo - great coffee and breakfast
- Bocce - pizza and bocce ball on the waterfront
- Wellingtons - wine bar on the harbor

There is a quaint town with cute stores and lots of hike and bike rides. I have a whole list of attractions and rental outlets that I will leave for you in your room.

- take the ferry to the city
- paddle board around the bay
- hike mount tam
- bike to Tiburon and have lunch on the harbour at Sams
- walk to Mill Valley and lunch at The Depot in the village square

This house is unique in that it was built on the site of Sausalitos water tower so it is 22 steps down from street level and has a private walled garden.

Just so you know, I have a small 12lb dog called Mocha. He is curious and checks the property for raccoon damage each morning so you may see him. Careful he's a lover!

This property is only available for short term rentals of 30 days or more as per Sausalito short term rental laws.

The place was light and airy. Such a nice change from a hotel. This is my first experience with Aur BnB and I'm sold. Loved the location. Tanyia's check in manual was most helpful. The bottle of wine and truffles was a pleasant and happy surprise.

Tanyia's place was exactly as described, a quiet little sanctuary in the trees of the Sausalito hills. Our stay was very brief, but enjoyable.

15 Min Down-/Uphillwalk to Sausalito Centrum. The lower apartment was very cozy, clean and lovely. Tanyia was always available and communicate with us in good time. The red wine was a great surprise when we arrived. Cab cost you 40-50 USD (1-way) to SF

It was wonderful to host you. Uber is a great choice to get in and out of the city at about $20-25 one way. Next time! Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Quiet, peaceful, very clean. Sausalito is already an amazing place to stay, add on a great spot to call home for a few nights and it's even better. Tanyia is super responsive and makes the entire trip a breeze. 15 min walk down the hill food, entertainment, ferry, etc. We would definitely come back and would recommend that anyone come visit this great spot. Thanks again Tanyia! Garrett

A great space with a charming mood, beautiful natural light, and available amenities. The location was perfect- a little ways from downtown Sausalito, but very easily accessible by car. It was also extremely close to some beautifully scenic hikes and great food. Will most definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet getaway or a comfortable place to stay outside the city.

I am a global ethnographer so I am on the road a lot. It's my job to meet people from all walks of life. Recently I spent a year in China researching women across the country and so why not open my home up and meet people in my own back garden so to speak!

These are my homes but i travel so much so you may never actually see me if that's more comforting!

I just landscaped the front garden. There is a huge dining table there which you are welcome to use anytime. Back garden is next...

Please let me know if there is anything that I can organize for you stay in advance. I would be happy to help.

I look forward to meeting you.

Best. Tanyia
