New walnut hardwood floors and open airy room. Ceiling fan, renovated bathroom with plenty of storage (website hidden) habla Espanol.
This is a wonderful downtown location where we can walk downtown to ice cream, pizza, Mexican food or the theatre.
Small European kitchenette, two burners, microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. Remodeled bathroom with Shower, toilet, and sink downstairs. Hallway leads to room with colorful twin beds and desk overlooking mountains, fruit trees and old pool. Please overlook toys and play area. Or dive into sandbox and make a castle. This is our yard too.
There is an outdoor patio table with new cushions you are free to sit and have your coffee with the neighborhood birds. The table is wiped before you arrive but may need another go over before you dine. Please be at home here. This is not a sterile rental but a downtown airbnb in the greatest sense of the word. Only we have real beds not air mats!
I like to say hello (Yo hablo Espanol) when you arrive and give you the space to just have privacy. You will probably not see your housemate but if you do she's very very quiet. The people in the front house are joyful and you may hear real life sounds. Feel free to text me and ask me any questions about the surrounding area or which direction you catch the number one bus. (Both directions get you on the number one bus which drives in a circle and both begins and ends at the station across the street.)
I love my neighborhood because it is a real neighborhood. There are people walking on the streets and children playing and the sounds of barbecues crackling. On any given day you can hear joyful Latin music playing in the distance. In the evening is quiet, peaceful, in the day is hot and dry.
The number one bus will take you to the transit center. The bikepath will take you either to UCSB or downtown. The same bike path goes all the way to Santa Monica I hear. One can walk across Mission to State Street or even up to the Santa Barbara Mission itself. State Street is a hub of restaurants, galleries, Bars and theaters.
This is a very nice Air B&B. It is not super high-end classy nor is it overpriced like the hotels downtown. You're not paying $300 a night for the sterility. You pay under hundred dollars a night for a lived in, home feeling.

I stayed at Yolanda´s place for 4 weeks and had a great time. Since I was busy with my volunteer program I haven´t seen them a lot, but always when I met them, they were so nice and helpful. I highly recommend their place, which is good located (you can walk downtown within 20 minutes or take the bus, the station is across the street) and was totally comfortable.
Yolanda's home was perfect for me as I was in town for a triathlon and need a peaceful and quiet place to rest up for the race. The beds were comfortable and Yolanda was very responsive to all inquiries. She made special room for my bike in her shed and also left coconut water and healthy snacks for us to enjoy. Definitely recommended!
Jolanda is very friendly and accommodating. My parents very much enjoyed their stay at their place. It is very conveniently located, close enough to downtown and located in a quiet residential neighborhood. The room is well maintained, clean and offers nice views of the mountains. There is a well appointed kitchenette downstairs but we did not need get to use it. Most of all, Jolanda was very accessible for any need whatsoever.
A really great and incredibly nice family. Very helpful. I was immediately made to feel right at home. Great little place that has just about everything you might possibly need for your stay. Excellent location that is close to State Street along with easy access to the freeway. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Santa Barbara.
wonderful people, very helpful
