Please take a few minutes to read thru our property details so as to hopefully clarify or answer questions or concerns you might have. Please note that pool usage during weekends is only allowed up to 5 people with P112/head fee. No limit wkdays.
Very modern resort-type condo (NOT a serviced apartment/hostel or hotel). Large, very airy condo... air-conditioned bedrooms and living room, 2 bath, with 2 big balconies. Please see photos. Large lagoon infinity pools, gym, free Wifi in the unit as well as in the clubhouse. A convenience store is within the compound (open until 12AM) and services (laundromat - walking distance, massage or food or drinking water delivery, etc.) are just a phone call away. 24/7 strict security.
Very close to 3 big malls - SM Southmall is walking distance. Alabang Town Center and Festival Mall- Filinvest are 5-10 mins (depending on the traffic) ride away and a short ride to the airport via SkyWay! Easy access to public bus, cabs, and jeepneys just outside the main gate. Truly a vacation-feel resort community. Only about 10mins away from Alabang. Great area.
The apartment has been designed to have as small a carbon footprint as possible. We used LED and CFL lamps and lighting fixtures. The Airconditioner uses energy-efficient inverter technology. Other kitchen appliances have also been selected based on its energy efficiency ratio (EER). We strongly encourage our guests to share in our earth-advocacy by shutting off all lights and electrical appliances when not in use. For this purpose, and to help you enjoy low rental rates, we have provided an electricity allowance of 13 kwh/night which is cumulative depending on your length of stay.. This is equivalent to about 8 hours of use per day if both A/C units are running simultaneously at 24°c setting. Excess usage will be charged at PhP16/kwh and will be collected upon check-out. You can easily monitor your usage thru the electric meter. Most guests don't go beyond the allotment and those who do, pay just a small fee. We don't make money out of electricity. The extra cost we charge you is the cost that the power company charges.
Guests will be given an access key to the unit personally by Norman or our staff upon arrival.
Should your planned checkin be past midnight (due to, sometimes, unpredictable flight schedules), let us know in advance so we could make arrangements with our staff as well as the Admin and Security.
Late night arrivals (from the airport) are tightly checked by main gate and roving security personnel.
We would appreciate if you could please inform us on your flight details/arrival/departure so we can make early arrangements with Admin and Security.
Ohana requires IDs for use of the pool for stays longer than 1 week to use pool for free. You can just proceed to the admin office to get an ID or ask Rodel to assist you, for stays less than a week, you have to pay approx P100 per use. They implement a maximum of 5 people on weekends per unit. No limit on weekdays.
We are NOT a serviced apartment nor hostel/hotel. For long stays, we do provide change of beddings, linens and towels upon request.
Beginning March 15, 2014 - Ohana Residence (where our unit is at) Admin has strictly implemented their ID system for ALL unit owners and tenants' security identification as well as the use of amenities.
As per Ohana Admin Policy, ONLY 5 of the X-number of registered occupants may use the pool for free for long stay guests. All short stay guests have pool charges.
The ID costs Php100 (non-refundable/non-transferrable) and will be ready upon application. Any 1x1 ID picture is required.
For registered tenants staying A WEEK AND UP, the ID is optional...
For registered tenants staying LESS THAN A WEEK, Ohana Admin no longer issue ID/s. Thus, tenant is subject to minimal amenity fees.
If the tenant/s do acquire an ID, it MUSt be surrendered upon check-out along with a move-out form to admin (facilitated by the unit owner).
If the tenant/s do not get an ID, they will be considered as guests and will be a charged a one time corresponding fee EACH TIME they use ANY of the amenities (swimming pool - Php112, gym Php56, etc.).
Other Things to Note
On the use of amenities - Weekends and holidays are strictly reserved for the unit owners and registered renters' use ONLY.
Short term staying registered guests may receive visitors (not listed or registered guest/s) anytime during their stay. If their visitor/s wish to use to use any of the amenities, they may do so, but ONLY on weekdays AND must pay the corresponding amenity fee. This is condo admin policy.

CLAYGO - Clean as you go. Our place gets quarterly pest treatment. To prevent infestation of ants and roaches, dispose garbage regularly and store any type of food properly.
This is the second time I have stayed with Norman and Joanna. The unit is well maintained and quite spacious, Norman and Joanna are very welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely use this unit again in the future and highly recommend anyone to enjoy their hospitality.
The place is indeed a "home away from home". It is very spacious for us having 6 adults and 2 toddlers. Mang Chito, Uncle of Norman, was there to welcome us though he can't answer some of our queries. But later on, we found out that all the answers were posted strategically on the walls.
The unit has complete kitchen utensils - all you need to bring is what you're going to cook, and of course the condiments. It also has tissue papers and hand soap. What's lacking is the bidet or even dipper or "tabo". Since we are Filipinos, we BADLY need that.
The living room is too warm on morning till afternoon since there's no AC in that area. But when the night comes, it is too windy. You can actually hear the wind blows!
It was not stated here that no guests are allowed to use the facilities during weekends and holidays. We just read it on one of the house rules posted on the wall.
Our electric consumption is too expensive as well though we only turned on the AC during the night and even just cooked twice using their induction cooker. Maybe it's because of the refrigerator which was then very hard to make ice or even cool our drinks.
For us those were just little flaws. Afterall, we, especially the senior citizens and toddlers, really enjoyed our short stay here.
Was able to meet and assisted by sir Norman personally. I requested and was allowed to arrive at the place much earlier than was advertised. If you need a big place just some 30 mins from the airport, dont hesitate to book this place. The place has everything you need. Better than advertised :)
See you sir again for your place at tagaytay! :)
The coordinator, Rodel waited for us patiently to check in as we got caught in the traffic jam. The lease agreement was reviewed and he showed us the amenities provided. The place was secure, quiet, clean and nice. The unit is very well maintained. There was a slight confusion on the number of guests allowed the use of the condo facilities but was clarified immediately by Norman. My family enjoyed our stay as it was very close to the malls and will come back once the opportunity comes up. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
Never met the host
Accommodation is exactly a described. Suitable for family. Not really for myself and a traveling companion from Australia. The traffic meant that while close to Manila on a map it took 1 to 11/2 hours to get into town. Without air in Lounge it was very hot and we apparently used three times the allotted power and needed too paid on top. Because no ID was made (we posted ID photos well in advance) we had to pay for the pool each time. We found that to hard to pay, as no one speaks english so we didn't swim. Clear instructions about water would help as I paid 500p for water bottles deposits that I had no way to get back. All in all this accommodation did not work out for me and when I return next year I will stay else where. The flat itself was clean an well presented. I myself expected two sheets but that an Australian way of making beds.
The place was described accurately. It was in a great location in a gated community. It was nice and clean, nicely decorated. The place was large enough for a group of 8 to stay comfortably.
Norman and his staff seemed like nice people. They replied promptly and were helpful.
great hosts that were too happy to help. The unit is clean and very spacious in a great location. Great stay.
