The space
Unwind in our beautifully renovated treetop home, offering ample space for families and groups. The main floor features three bedrooms: a king suite with en-suite bath and daybed, a queen bedroom, and a twin bedroom, along with an additional full bath. Enjoy new beds (2022) and linens for ultimate comfort. The fully equipped, modern kitchen is perfect for preparing lakeside meals. A renovated lower level (2025) provides a cozy living area and half bath. Relax and soak in the tranquil atmosphere on two large covered porches with picturesque wood and partial lake views (lush summer foliage may enhance privacy).

Explore Lake Barkley with our three kayaks (one tandem, two singles), and utilize the nearby public boat ramp (less than 1/2 mile) or marinas (15 minutes). Immerse yourself in nature's beauty, with daily visits from deer and a variety of wildlife, including toads, skinks, turtles, and hummingbirds.

Please be aware that Lake Barkley's water level is managed by the Army Corps of Engineers and is lower during the fall and winter months, resulting in a longer walk to the water's edge.

Hi, I live in a suburb of Chicago with my Husband and 3 boys. We love our suburban life but also enjoy spending time in the beauty and serenity of Lake Barkley. We are excited to share our oasis with you! Trade in hustle and bustle for a peaceful morning where the only visitors are grazing deer or maybe a wild turkey. Going for a swim or kayak ride is so invigorating as you enjoy the expanse of water and woods, rarely another soul about. I am available by text or phone and have help in the area for any needs.
