Amazing host!!! Me and my girlfriend arrived up at leans place and were blown away by her hospitality and her cute home. She surprised my gf with champagne and chocolates for when we arrived (it was her birthday trip) house is very clean and cozy. Bed was super comfy and loved the style. The place is in a great location. 1 min walk and you are in the middle of it all with cafes and thirst stores. But the house is just far enough to enjoy the calm quiet leafy street.
Would recommend 100%!
I'm not sure what was my favorite part of staying here... meeting Lena and being completely spoiled by her graciousness or staying in this cozy, hip apartment of hers so close to an amazing slice of Hawthorne. Let's just say I feel lucky for having such a great 1st Airbnb experience and Lena made that happen with every thoughtful detail.
Portland seems to radiate with people who are genuine, kind and unique/ artsy. Lena is a poster child for Portland and that shows in her clean, minimalist, cozy art-filled apartment. Thank you Lena for making our adventure so perfect in every way!!
Lena was a great communicator. She responded instantly to my initial inquiry and checked in on me after my first day. She attempted to meet me upon arrival, but my flight was delayed so unfortunately we were unable to meet.
The condo was very clean, well furnished and in an unbeatable location. The condo is located in a very hip inner East side PDX location within walking distance to every amenity possible. We did not bring a car and it was never necessary (for urban exploration).
Lena was an amazing hostess and I'd love to stay here again!
Our first airbnb experience, and it far exceeded our expectations! Lena was warm and welcoming even though we never met face to face. She left us notes on the neighborhood, travel guides for Portland, and even breakfast in the fridge. The neighborhood is fantastic with tons to do in walking distance and downtown is a short bus ride away. Highly recommend!
Lena was extremely accommodating and flexible with check in and out times. The apartment was comfortable and reasonably quiet despite of its proximity to Hawthorne. Lots of light too. Some of the furniture from the photos was missing—the desk in the bedroom and seating area near the windows in the living room. It got pretty hot in the afternoons if you didn't pull the blinds down but overall a good place to stay.
The place is clean, perfect size for a couple, and in a great location. Though we didn't meet Lena, she was a gracious host and always replied quickly to any questions we had. She even left us some great coffee as well as yogurt with granola and berries for breakfast. There isn't any a/c in the apartment and while that's not a problem in the evening, if you do plan to spend the afternoons in the apartment, it can get a bit hot. Since we were out most of the day that wasn't a problem.
