Miramar is a great and lively neighborhood. It is famous for its restaurants, coffee shops, cinema, art and music. There are over 14 great restaurants/bars walking distance from my apartment. Here are a some of them:
Melanzanna (italian), Pizza Birra (italian), Abreu's Wine Cellar (spanish), Casita Miramar (puertorican), Café Miramar (puertorican), Lima (peruvian), La Jaquita Baya (puertorican), Papillon Bistro (french/provençal), Soda (artesanal), Bistro 606 (french), Augusto's Cuisine (international), La Pradera (puertorican), Osaka (Japanese), Bartola (mexican), Los Pinos (24/7) (puertorican).
Miramar is very close to Condado (walking distance) and Old San Juan (5 min. in car or public transportation). It is a very popular neighborhood that appeals to young and old alike because of the many things to do and visit.
And best of all everythin is walking distance: the supermarket, a pharmacy, a post office, UPS store, banks, deli, bars, restaurants, hotels, convention center. So if you come for business or for pleasure, you have all you need close by.
During the day walk to the beach, go to Old San Juan or El Condado... so close! And, in the evening walk to one of best movie theaters of the metropolitan area or have a great dinner or just enjoy the music and some drinks in one of the bars, hotels or lounges. Also, if you like art, you will find art galleries and museums close by, too.
The Urban Garden is perfect for a getaway vacation! Artists, travelers, writers, families and business people are welcome. Just steps from the bus stop, beach, bike paths, and the Puerto Rico Convention Center. This is definitely your best choice in Miramar.

Great apartment in a perfect location. Lovely neighborhood for evening strolls and close to great restaurants and grocery shop.
This was a family trip with my parents and they felt extremely comfortable at the apartment.
Communication was easy. I would definitely stay here again in the future! Thank you very much!!! :)
It was very easy to work with Sofia. She was clear and flexible. In addition, she was willing to help out. The apt is in a great location. The apt is charming - with cute furniture and art. It is easy to walk to restaurant, grocery story and movies. It is also possible to cook in the apt. The bathroom is modern. The apt is very very clean.
Thank you Sofia.
Great place to stay, and our host was awesome. We stayed 5 nights at Sofia's apartment and it had everything we needed. It spacious enough for 4 people. And was in a nice neighborhood within walking distance to a supermarket, frozen yogurt, coffee shop and more. I would highly recommended this place to stay to anyone interested in coming to Puerto Rico. Thanks so much Sofia for letting us stay at you.
This was my first airbnb experience and it was a good one! We landed early so we grabbed lunch before heading to the apartment at 3pm. We were met by Milagros, who gave us keys and showed us around the apartment before she left. One confusing thing was that I was in contact with Lourdes, Sofia's assistant; Milagros, who cleans the apartment; and Darlene, Milagros' daughter. It was a bit confusing to figure out who was the main contact person. Apartment was clean and spacious, AC is powerful and almost instant! The washer and dryer were super convenient to have. Location is great! Quiet residential area and close to several restaurants and a grocery store. Also close to a major hotel if you are booking tours/excursions and need pickup/dropoff.
Sofia responds very quickly through the airbnb app and Lourdes is also very responsive. Instructions were thorough and we were left pretty much on on our own until we checked out.
We had a fantastic stay at Sofia's place. Lourdes was extremely helpful and all contact before our arrival went very smoothly. Once in the apartment, everything was in a great state, clean and in good working order, as well as well decorated with some of Sofia's own art work, and we were always happy to come back home in the evening. The patio was an extra boon - we had breakfast there every morning. Miramar is a great neighbourhood, close to where we needed to be for work, but also near restaurants and bars and supermarkets. All in all, a wonderful place to stay in San Juan!
We had a wonderful 2 months in Sofia's apartment. Miramar is a great neighborhood, walking distance to the beaches and tourist attractions of Condado, and a short bus ride from beautiful Old San Juan. The apartment is bigger than it looked to us in the pictures, and had everything we needed. When there were minor problems (a water leak in the kitchen, and the cable/Wi-Fi cut out), Lourdes had them fixed right away. This apartment is in an old building with the problems of an old building, but with the architectural grace of one as well. The one annoyance was the traffic noise from the street and bus stop outside the window. It made sitting on the patio less desirable, and we had to close the windows to listen to the television in the evening. But the bedroom had been soundproofed effectively, especially if the a/c is on.
