  • Very nice apartment: we stayed here with 2 boys (aged 9 and 6) and it suited us fine: clean, comfortable, quiet & a good amount of space for such a central location. It's a pleasant 10 minutes' walk to the Colosseum & forum, 10 minutes in the other direction to the Termini station, very handy for the metro, and it was nice being in a residential neighbourhood rather than a tourist area. The via Merulana area round the corner is handy for restaurants, grocery shopping etc. Federico was a good host: replied to all our queries, flexible about times, was there to meet us and even booked a cab for us on our last day. Also has a decent kitchen well stocked with coffee, olive oil and other essentials. We'd definitely recommend it as a base for exploring Rome for a family or small group.

  • First of all, Federico is a great and very accommodating host! We had a ton of luggage and he helped us carry it to the apartment. He was also on time, great at communication and very flexible with our departure time and we truly appreciated it.

Here are a few hints about the apartment:
-The apartment has a great location: it’s a 2-minute walk to the underground station and walking distance to the Colloseum (15 minutes lovely walk, with a stop for coffee). Having a vehicle is a no-no, driving in Rome is not a good idea, imo. It took us about 20 minutes to get to Termini station from the time we left the apartment.
-The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated, and was large enough for two couples or a large family (with or without kids: there are two separate bedrooms). There is plenty of storage space, the kitchen is very well-equipped so you can cook your own meals if you chose.
-The apartment is quiet and we slept soundly every night. There is plenty of blankets, extra bed sheets, etc.
-Wi-Fi worked without a glitch and there is a TV, etc. if you need it.
-The bathroom has shower gel, soap and other in case you need it. Fresh towels were provided.

We recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Rome!

  • Federico was a great host. He met with us on time and was very helpful and fleible with our time of arrival and departure. The place was spotless. It was reported acurately and we had a great experience. I traveled with my husband, uncle and brother and everyone of us was happy. Its a 15 minute walk to the Colosseum and to the station. A five minute walk to the metro and the supermarket. I would reccomend this listing to any of my friends.

  • This apartment is well maintained and we enjoyed our stay here. It was close to the Metro station and we could go anywhere from there. Location is good and the neighborhood is safe as well.
In the apartment, there was no microwave in the kitchen and the beds in the second bedroom were not that comfortable to sleep on. Other than these couple of things, I would say that the apartment is quite good and very very clean.

  • Federico was on time to meet us, checked to make sure we were ok and importantly ensured we had coffee. Apartment is large and exactly as described. It is quiet and close to everything we needed.

  • After a $15e/person taxi ride from the airport we found a pleasant host, Frederico. None of our group speaks Italian, but he was able to get us acquainted with the apartment and it's surroundings quickly. The apartment is very clean, plenty large for a family of 4, or 2 couples. He was also nice enough to stock the basics in the fridge and cupboards for us! Although it is centrally located in busy Rome it is very quiet and restful at night. It is also a short walking distance to the Metrorail, many restaurants, and lots of shopping. If you take the time to explore the surrounding neighborhood you will find lots of quaint places and pleasant people. We highly recommend a stay here! Also, be sure to take his restaurant recommendation of Orso 80, it's delicious!
