Tucked away on a quiet street of traditional Victorian terraces, our detached home on Onley Street offers a rare and unique stay in NR2. Designed to echo the historic street scene while providing all the comforts of a modern home.

Three bedrooms each have their own en suite bathroom and luxurious super king beds. In the heart of Norwich’s popular Golden Triangle, with independent shops, cafés and bars a short walk away. Free parking nearby. Ideal for families, groups and longer stays.

The space
A spacious, detached house with three en-suite bedrooms (plus a downstairs loo), 115 Onley Street is perfect for families, groups of friends or colleagues sharing while still enjoying privacy.

Off the large entrance hall is a bright sitting room with French doors opening onto a sheltered courtyard garden, complete with festoon lighting for cosy evenings. There’s a comfy sofa, armchair with footstool, a 42” TV and even a much-loved piano.

The kitchen includes a large American-style fridge-freezer, oven, hob, extractor, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and Nespresso machine with a few pods to get you started. The retro dining table seats six, or you can perch at the breakfast bar for morning coffee. Downstairs has underfloor heating throughout.

Upstairs, all three bedrooms have superking beds (which can be arranged as six full-size singles if requested), wall-mounted TVs, hairdryers and fans.

Each bedroom has its own en-suite shower room with loo, sink, heated towel rail and illuminated demister mirror. Bedroom One is calm and neutral with a full wardrobe, drawers, dressing table and Velux-lit bathroom. Bedroom Two has original artwork, warm colours, a full wardrobe and Velux window in the en-suite. Bedroom Three overlooks the street, with a compact wardrobe and an en-suite shower room with an opaque window for light and privacy.

Upstairs is centrally heated with individual radiator controls, and modern sash windows can be safely secured open for ventilation.

Heating and hot water come from our eco-efficient air source system. We also provide recycling and food-waste bins and full instructions during your stay.

Parking for up to three cars is available in the car park of our pub just behind the house (about a two-minute walk). You can also pull up outside to unload, and on-street parking is often available after 6.30pm.

We also run seven pubs in Norwich and another Airbnb apartment for six above the Red Lion Bishopgate, where you’ll find paddleboarding and a sauna garden.

Guest access
The whole house is accessible to our guests including the private courtyard garden. We just have a small locked cupboard on the landing which is where we keep cleaning supplies.

Other things to note
There’s no parking at 115 Onley Street but we own the pub immediately behind (a two minute walk away) where you can park throughout your stay. You can pull up outside to drop off bags.

The owners have two pubs within a few minutes’ walk but they’re keen for guests at 115 to enjoy everything that the area and their home city has to offer.
