Family with 2 children. Fully satisfied. The apartment is big enough, in quiet place, close to metro, supermarkets, bakeries. Recommend to stay there.
A good choice for a place to stay in Paris. Warm welcome by Arnaud with tips and advice for the local area. Easily connected all over the city from Gares du Nord and de L'Est, as well as Chateau Landon metro (5 minute walk). The apartment is on the small side but is sufficient for a couple and was clean when we arrived. Would recommend!
Great place! Although we arrived late for check-in Arnaud was able to set something up so we could still pick up the keys. The directions left by him were very clear and made things much less complicated for us during our arrival. The place was clean and definitely worth the price.
We arrived in Paris at 7am.Arnaud was kind to receive us at 10am outside his apartment.
However,we waited outside the apartment No.11 instead of 11 bis, which has a gate towards a small garden and is just next to No 11.
Both Arnaud and our family were running around trying to locate each other and via mobile phones. We finally found the right place after 10 mins.
Everything is fine in the apartment. The kitchen has a microwave, small oven,4 cooking stoves with a built-in oven which I didn't know how to use. There is a water filter jug and a hot water jar.Cooking oil and beverages not provided.Only sugar and washing detergents for plates and clothes are available.Heating system is good.
Enough space for a family of 4 to sleep in a sofa bed in the living room and a double bed in the room.
We stayed for 4 nights. The only BIG problem we had was with the water heater for showering and washing.Hot water was suddenly cut off when it was my turn to shower.I frantically tried to turn the tap but still no hot water supply.I had to quickly wash my hair in cold, icy water and left the bathroom.
My husband called Arnaud and he got someone to fix the problem the next day.BUT the same problem occured from the 2nd night again and for the rest of our stay.Arnaud promised to get it fixed again on Sunday after we sent him few SMSes but I think no one came and problem was not solved at all.The remaining SMSes went unreplied.Eventually,we had to boil water in the kitchen to wipe ourselves for the rest of our stay.
I feel that the bathtub is not user friendly especially for seniors with difficulties getting in and out of it.
Overall stay is good and its convienently located just a short walk from Chateau Landon (email hidden)ny eateries and a bakery at the corner. The MARCHE supermarket is near.
Everything would be perfect if the hot water is fixed.
three of us stayed here for a long weekend, it's in a great location, lots of bars and restaurants and of course, the canal, nearby. Arnaud and Romain were really helpful and communicative, we didnt meet them but they were only a phone call away and they had someone meet us at the apartment on arrival. It's a good base, we didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment but it was clean and had everything we needed.
