Paul & Heidi were both very welcoming and helpful! It's an amazing location with lots of things to do nearby. The room was nice, quiet and private. I can't wait to go back & explore more!
Amazing property! So peaceful and welcoming. Paul was extremely helpful and had many interesting stories. Would definitely recommend to anyone for a weekend getaway!
We were thoroughly pleased with our experience staying two nights mid-week at the Delano House B & B in Fairhaven, MA. We arrived later than planned and Paul graciously accommodated us in two rooms with two bathrooms, as needed. Both rooms were beautifully appointed with very comfortable king-size beds. One room had an en suite bath. Both baths were well stocked and easily accessible.
We had forgotten to tell Paul we are gluten-free. I emailed him in the middle of the night before breakfast the next morning, not really expecting that much could be expected with such little notice. We were happily surprised when Heidi presented us with every possible option including GF granolas and breads and granola bars for the road. Fruit, eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, coffee and tea -- everything was beautifully prepared and graciously offered.
We felt right at home in this lovely historic setting. Paul and Heidi were each helpful, warm, and friendly. We expect you'll be very pleased with your stay here.
our interaction with Paul was great. he had great insight into what to do in the area and was very friendly and accommodating. the pictures of the place don't do it justice! it was a huge, beautiful historic house in a quiet neighborhood. would definitely stay again!
also, the breakfast was delicious!
Great host! Very informative and gave us great recommendations ! Hope to go back soon and explore more
We stayed only one night with Paul & Heidi but still it was perfect! The house is full of beautiful old furniture and the bed in the Franklin room was the most comfortable I have ever slept in!!!
Fairhaven is very small, relaxed and calm but still you can have a great meal e.g. at Elisabeths.
The breakfast was delicious and plenty. We can recomend the Delano B&B without limitation.
Paul and Heidi made us very welcome. They were engaging and informative about local history and interesting places to visit. Excellent recommendation for restaurant in the area. The house was beautiful, full of character and history. We decided the bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in and the breakfast was outstanding!
