The space

Rustic charm N’ Urban setting
Stuyvesant Heights
I live on a very quiet street lined with Brownstones & Brick homes that have backyards that bring to mind country living. You can have the entire floor or private rooms that are safe, clean, comfortable & Wifi enabled. Street side parking available. Centrally connected by public transportation to Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens neighborhoods. Only 8 minutes from Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges where you can walk or bike as you gaze at Lady Liberty in the Harbor.
An awesome neighborhood offering entertainment from public parks to charming restaurants and street side Cafés. Stuyvesant heights is a historic neighborhood that is currently experiencing re-gentrification and cultural diversity. The Metro Tech Ctr and up and coming Nets Stadium in Downtown Bklyn has brought new interest to this area. I'm a great host and can direct you to a great New York experience, enjoy a safe and adventurous time as you stay in my ‘Secret Garden’

I'd recommend this to anyone who frequently travels between the JFK and Manhattan. It's also close to Deli and grocDeliver you can grab your food anytime you want. The nearest station is Nostrand Ave and there is Walgreens

Was an amazing place to stay for the weekend. Although I did not meet Claire, her brother who maintains all the units was super nice and helpful. Everything advertise in ad was a 100% accurate. Very close (15min) to Downtown Manhattan by train. I would definitely recommend this place.

Me and my boyfriend stayed a week in Claire's apartment and we were very comfortable. We did not meet Claire but her siblings were very accomadating and we could do a late check-in and also leave our bags in the house after check-out. We were also very happy with the communication with the host. We did not have any problems during our stay. Everything worked fine. Also we found the apartment a lot more spacious than the photos imply. Actually the apartment is nicer than shown in the photos, so this was a positive surprise for us. The apartment is located fairly close to two different subway stops, the A and C as well as the G, I think it was about a 10 minute walk. The neighbourhood was nothing special, there are some stores, a couple of restaurants and a bar close to the apartment, but we found it to be more of a resedential area. Also it was calm for a big city, but you can hear the airplanes quite clearly. This did not bother me though. I would definetely recommend the apartment to anyone, but as other reviewers have written, you have to be able to walk pretty steep stairs to get to the apartment.

Claire was a good host! Communication & "check-in" was perfect. She left a lot of info material etc. The neighborhood was a nice medium between peaceful but not boring. Don't be fooled by some of the run-down looking corners, we definitely liked it a lot! There's an awesome burrito place not too far away! Also there are quite a few stores nearby and the Kitchen was fully equipped! Everything was great and we would recommend it to anybody

Our stay was as pleasant as one could ask for. Everything was clean when we got there and set for us...we never had any noise to disturb us nor any problem. Indeed, Claire indicated how to get to the subway and nearer buses. I highly recommend this place to spend time in the big apple.
