The room is quiet and well equipped.
Old floorings and ceilings remain in this modernist style apartment, as well as many details.
Take advantage of the kitchen, the access to the terrace and the proximity with the Ramblas (10 min walking).
I offer a comfortable and quiet room in the heart of Barcelona, in the historic district of San Antoni.
The room is 10 m2, it is furnished with a king size bed, a large wardrobe, bedside table and good lighting. The room is totally isolated from possible noise from the street.
The apartment is old-fashion, with a typical Catalan tiled floor and molded ceilings along with many other original details (switches, door handles, see photos...).
The kitchen is fully equipped: boiler, oven, microwave, toaster, etc. .. The rustic look makes it a very pleasant place, full of light.
The bathroom is spacious with bath, marble and antique mirror.
The apartment is on the 5th floor with lift, in a great location just 10 minutes walking from Las Ramblas. The access to the metro (subway Pobla Sec, green line) is at the foot of the building and the other two lines are 5 min. walking. The bus 46 ( from the airport ) drops you directly, without correspondence (30min) and there is also a direct bus to Barceloneta beach or Marbella.
It has 200mb wifi available.
We live Nancy, Elena and I, and we love to make discover to travelers this city that welcomed us so well and we love so much!
You have access to the kitchen, the bathroom, your room and the terrace

There is few house rules but always remember you are not alone here. Clean your mess, take care of what you're using, be quiet and respectful are the main civic rules you'll have to follow while you're staying at home.
The points you have to be aware of:
- Check in y check out. Check in time is after 3PM. If you wish, you can come earlier to drop off your bags, but never before 10AM and it will always depend on my availability. I will not always be able to make it. Check out is before 12AM.
- If you arrive after 10PM, I will apply an extra fee of 20 Euros, with no exception.
- Regarding check out, if I am not present at that moment, just leave the keys on the bed table and close the door. Pay attention that the room is well closed and that you are not leaving anything behind you!
- It is totally prohibited to make parties to meet with external people in the flat.
- You can smoke on the flat, in the kitchen with all windows opened.
- Always clean after yourself, so the person after you will not have to do it for you.
Thanks for observing these rules!
My stay in Antoine's and Nancy's apartment was wonderfull. Keep on the good job guys!!! :-) 3
Nancy and Antoine were great hosts! They were so welcoming and I felt so at home in their flat. My only regret was that wasn't in Barcelona for a few extra days. When I come back, I'll definitely stay with them again.
Accueil sympathique dans un ancien et bel appartement. Quartier proche de toutes commodités. Merci Antoine !
We had a really nice time at Antoine's unique apartment and enjoyed the old-fashioned furnishing. It was also very central; Plaza Espana and the Magic Fountain were within easy walking distance. Antoine and Nancy are friendly and welcoming hosts! We wish we could have spent a few more days with them.
Antoine was very helpful with telling us the directions and communicating before we arrived. Everything was great and the apartment has old-fashion elevators which was pretty cool! Location is super close to the metro so it was easy to commute everywhere. Nice neighbourhood too!
My boyfriend & I had an awesome stay in Barcelona! Antoine & Nancy are very kind hosts, as was Elena. Totally down-to-earth & genuinely friendly. I only wish we could have spent more time together. We did not spend much time in the apartment, because the weather was amazing & there was so much to explore & discover. The apartment itself was very nice & we felt at home. I really liked the mix of antique furniture, with some multicultural, artsy & quirky touches. The old fashioned elevator was very charming- just like our hosts. The location is beyond perfect! When in Barcelona: this is where we'd stay!
Antoine's place is perfectly located: Julia and me hardly ever took public means, because we very much enjoyed walking through Ciutat Vella into town. Also the neighbourhood is nice, don't miss Carrer de Blai with a lot of fancy bars.
The room is small but absolutely alright for the price! The only thing one might want to know is that the only window is looking to the 9 floor staircase with its old style lift in the centre which means you hear every movement or noise coming from the staircase (if there is any of course, otherwise it is very quiet). Earplugs might be helpful.
Antoine and his girlfriend are really nice and helpful, although we hardly caught sight of them as they were very busy and we were out all day.
In the end, I forgot my precious ham and chorizo in the fridge and Antoine was ever so kind to send it to me by post.
