About this listing
I have a private room available in my apartment. The room is suitable for one person.
You will have full use of all other facilities including wireless internet. In the bathroom there is a washing machine and a clothes dryer. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. The kitchen has a cosy eating area, a gas stove, a fridge & a microware, plus all cooking utensils & equipment.
The lounge has heating, a TV & a DVD player. Off the lounge is a small balcony with a pleasant view over Kew.
Kew is one of Melbourne's older established suburbs where you will find banks, good coffee shops and several restaurants all within walking distance of the apartment.
If self catering is your style Kew offers an excellent selection of fresh food options in the local shops. You can park your car in Pakington, just ask me for the "Resident's Permit".
Travel to the CBD can take 20-40 min, depending on time of day. The 48 tram, at the end of Pakington Street (a 3-5 minute walk) will take you into the city via Bridge Road (clothes shopping), the MCG & Melbourne Park.
From the Kew Junction you can take the 109 tram that travels to the CBD via Victoria Street where there are numerous Vietnamese restaurants.
A bus from the Kew Junction gives you access to Brunswick Street, the Italian restaurants of Lygon Street and the CBD.
Very quite and clean place. I enjoyed my stay there. Kate is a very kind and nice lady. She helped me to give all information that I need so it's very helpful for someone like me who is very new to Melbourne.
Kate was a wonderful host, and was particularly accommodating given my flight landed very late and she was awake to let me in and then, later in my stay, I locked myself out (twice!)! It was a pleasure to meet Kate and I think that anyone who stays here is very fortunate.
The apartment is lovely and cosy, with plenty of heating (it was cold in Melbourne when I visited). Everything was very clean and easy to find your way around. It is also very conveniently located to public transport to the city, and the lovely cafes around Kew.
I had a great time - thanks Kate!
I had a lovely stay at Kew Tranquility. It was very clean and quiet and is in a very convenient location. Kate is a great host - friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it for the solo traveller.
Everything was as in the pictures. The rooms were well lit and Kate gave me useful tips on travelling in the city and areas. I would recommend to anyone wishing for a place to stay with good company and with easy access to the city
Kate was a wonderful hostess and also very hospitable. The room is quiet, clean and comfortable and close to good transport system.
I had a pleasant stay in Kew. Kate was a wonderful and accommodating host. The room had everything I needed and is close to public transport. A good room for the single traveler.
I had a good time in Melbourne and Kate was very helpful and sweet lady. Thank you Kate and hope to see you in Norway.
