The Space

I have a private room available in my apartment. The room is suitable for one person.

You will have full use of all other facilities including wireless internet. In the bathroom there is a washing machine and a clothes dryer. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. The kitchen has a cosy eating area, a gas stove, a fridge & a microware, plus all cooking utensils & equipment.

The lounge has heating, a TV & a DVD player. Off the lounge is a small balcony with a pleasant view over Kew.

Kew is one of Melbourne's older established suburbs where you will find banks, good coffee shops and several restaurants all within walking distance of the apartment.

If self catering is your style Kew offers an excellent selection of fresh food options in the local shops. You can park your car in Pakington, just ask me for the "Resident's Permit".

Travel to the CBD can take 20-40 min, depending on time of day. The 48 tram, at the end of Pakington Street (a 3-5 minute walk) will take you into the city via Bridge Road (clothes shopping), the MCG & Melbourne Park.

From the Kew Junction you can take the 109 tram that travels to the CBD via Victoria Street where there are numerous Vietnamese restaurants.

A bus from the Kew Junction gives you access to Brunswick Street, the Italian restaurants of Lygon Street and the CBD.
