The Space

This is the place for those who want to stay in the city center, close to all attractions but hate the noise of a frenetic city like Rome. It is located on a quiet hill over viale Trastevere, a trendy area with bars, restaurants and historical sites.

The atmosphere feels very quiet and relaxed, but also close to the vibrant everyday life of Trastevere.

Completely renovated, it has a wooden floor all over the place, a spacious living room with a sofa bed, a modern kitchen, a bedroom with a large bed and a fully equipped bathroom. Equipped with a very efficient air conditioning to survive the hot days and nights of July and August.

Entrance is at ground floor but there is another apartment below since it is on a hill. It was part of a loft before.

Available for free: independent high-speed wi-fI internet connections, air conditioning, dish washer, large combi oven, electric hob no gas, fridge & freezer, espresso machine, washing machine (in the laundry room of the our three apartments), wall safe. Towels and bedsheets are provided to our guests (included in price).

The city center, bars and restaurants are in walking distance. An efficient tram takes directly to the heart of Rome (passes every 5minutes, late in the evening included - 10 min. to Campidoglio).

Fast transportation from and to the airport, with a train every 15 min. connecting Trastevere station (500m away) to Fiumicino airport.

If you own a car you can park it directly on our private parking area (inside the property) within the limits of available space and if not available in the car parks nearby (free / not free).

Please read House Rules on the menu.
Note: 4 sleeping spaces, 2 in a real bed - width 180cm length 200cm - and 2 on a bed - width 140cm length 200cm - extracted from the sofa-bed.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • It was a great apartment.
    Clean and enough space.
There were some things to eat and drink, when we came in the apartment. That was nice.
In a quiet area. Ten minutes walk to the centre of Trastevere.
Tram 8 takes you to the centre of Rome, or you walk for half an hour.

  • We had a brilliant stay in this apartment. Federico was a wonderful host, providing us with all the information we needed before arrival, was very quick on email and was really flexible with our late check-in time. The flat was exactly as pictured - really clean, modern and comfortable.

The location is perfect - we ate in Trastevere every night because it was such a lovely part of Rome with lots of great restaurants (and some great recommendations from Federico!), but could walk to the centre in half an hour or hop on a tram from the end of the road.

Would definitely stay again and recommend to a friend. Perfect!

  • We recently stayed at Federico’s apartment and would definitely recommend it. We have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with Federico and his staff. He certainly understands customer service. He was very responsive from booking to check-out and excellent on communicating all the information we could possibly need for our stay. Although we did not get to meet him (or his father), Sherif was there to meet us and show us around the apartment when we arrived. Everything was clean and as the pictures described. In addition to plates, glasses, pots, pans, wine-opener etc…the apartment was stocked with some basic necessities like napkins, paper towels, coffee, tea, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, plastic wrap, salt, pepper etc...and even cream, yogurt, crackers and croissants, so if we didn’t get to the market the first day we would have something in the morning. They even have an espresso machine so I could make my own cappuccinos! Another nice courtesy is that 1/2-way through the week they will do one load of laundry for you (wash/dry/fold), since the laundry facilities are not in the apartment. The Wi-FI was fast and dependable. We had one issue with the bathroom, but as soon as we contacted Federico about it they came out that day and it was resolved by the time we returned. Even the check-out process was excellent. Sherif was right on-time and even carried our bags down the hill and across the street to the tram stop we were taking. Now that’s great service! The location of the apartment was perfect. It is in a quiet, local area, but definitely walkable to many of the important sites to see and very close to public transportation. As others have mentioned, the steep hill needed to climb to get to the apartment could be daunting after a full day of site-seeing if you had health or mobility issues, but nothing that would keep us from renting this great place in the future.

  • I had a wonderful stay at this suite. It was very clean, comfortable and the location is very convenient to get around the city. The bed was really comfortable and the apartment itself has a cozy feel. Both Federico and his father were very helpful with all questions I had regarding the suite. I would highly recommend this suite to anyone traveling to Rome that's looking for a quiet place to retreat to.

  • Apartment was exactly as described. Location was perfect for us whom do not want to meet tourist crowd at the entrance and do not like nose at night. Short distance from apartment to tram to center, that had frequency every 3 minutes in rush hours. It is only 15 minutes to go to Rome center as well. Area around is save with mostly Italian residents. There is nice and decent bakery few blocks away, big supermarket is close too. Only 10 minutes away we had central streets and piazza in Trastevere with a lot of restaurants and shops.
Feedback and communication from both Frederico and his father was excellent.
Rooms were spacious and clean. There is no view from the apartment, but very nice view from entrance hall with winter garden.

  • A very lovely and well furnished apartment, perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing and walking through Rome. The accommodation has everything one needs, including a well equipped kitchen.
The apartment is nicely situated, in a short walking distance from the bustling streets of Trastevere, but also quiet at night. If you’re tired of discovering the city by foot, there’s a tramway stop very close to the apartment.
Federico’s father greeted us on arrival and was very helpful. He took the time to explain everything about the apartment and made recommendations for restaurants and supermarkets in the surrounding area.
We’d definitely recommend this accommodation. It was perfect for our stay.

  • Had a blast, house was on top of a hill so had to walk up every night which was great as I was indulging on loads of food. Very conveniently located by busses and trams.

  • Our stay at Federico's place was perfect. We did not have the chance to meet him in person, but his very kind father checked us in to the apt and helped with everything.
The flat is just like on the photos, very clean and comfortable. The uphill walk to reach the apartment is not more than 50 meters, definitely not something to worry about.
Really, I can not think of anything which could have made our stay even more confortable.

  • We've spent 5 great days in Rome. Apartment was perfect, axactly as I expected. We received some necessary tips where to find some good restaurant or bar as well as information about grocery store or pharmacy. It is worth mentioning that location of apartment is really great, it's really nice and calm and at the same time close to the middle of Trastevere and everything you need. If i come again to Rome, I will for sure choose again Federico as my host. I will also recommend apartment to my friends.

I've traveled a lot and seen many different places. Rome is the city I love the most. Why? I love culture and authentic places. I don't like traffic and noisy, crowded places and therefore I consider my homes as oases surrounded by culture, nature and harmony. I am a tech entrepreneur living between Berlin and Rome. I am Co-Founder of 2 tech startups and I am director of a startup incubator in Rome. I like research and for this reason I am also doing a PhD with a focus on crowd-sourcing. In my free time I love traveling, surfing and painting.
