We had an incredible time staying at Gail's beautiful home. Gail was so accommodating, both in terms of check-in and check-out and in providing amenities and coffee for us. She was also very accessible during our stay whenever we had questions. Her apartment is located in a beautiful part of San Francisco -- we especially enjoyed the gorgeous views from the rooftop deck. The apartment itself was lovely, clean, quiet, and fully equipped for all our needs. We were delighted to be able to being our dog to stay with us (what a bonus!!). Overall, we highly recommend staying at Gail's apartment and hope to be back soon ourselves!
Gail is a wonderful host and her apartment is perfect. It is large, comfortable and spotless. It is exactly the type of apartment that you would want to live in if you lived in SF. It is a great place to stay for a business or pleasure trip to SF. I couldn't recommend Gail or her lovely apartment more strongly.
We had a great time staying in the apartment which is in a wonderful location. It was spacious and light and well equipped. Gail welcomed us and the fridge was already stocked. There are good shops and restaurants nearby which she listed for us. We would definitely stay again.

Gail's apartment is perfect. Perfect size, perfect kitchen, perfect bedroom, perfect shower/bath. I'm already missing the view of the rooftop deck. We were very lucky to choose the right place for our vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this elegantly furnished apartment in a beautiful 1930's building. It boasts views of San Francisco Bay from the living room as well as from the roof deck, which is a delightful spot for coffee and cocktails. The layout includes an entrance hall, dining and living rooms, and kitchen, all separate spaces, along with the master bedroom and bath. Equally charming are the arched doorways, Art Deco architectural detail, hardwood floors, and large bay windows. The gracious owner left fresh flowers everywhere, lovely gift toiletries and soap, a bottle of chilled wine, as well as locally made granola, Blue Bottle coffee, and yogurt for our breakfast. The owner also welcomed us personally to the apartment and gave us a list of tips and recommendations for shopping restaurants, etc., as well as a contact number should we have a question. In the heart of Pacific Heights, this location is a few blocks walk to the bustling Marina and Fillmore Street neighborhoods. Special surprises for us was the owner's wonderful collection of jazz (CD's), ample clothes closet, and private office. We look forward to staying here again!
Great location. Gail was a good host and was easy to reach by phone if we had a question. The apartment was comfortable and clean.
Since this is my first review, and the first review for this lovely apartment, I'll try to provide extra detail.
My girlfriend and I stayed at this beautiful apartment for a week. Gail, the owner, was a total delight to interact with. She greeted us warmly when we arrived and made several good recommendations for nearby restaurants, cafes and things to do.
The building is a high-end building in the ultimate SF neighborhood. I think we were a couple blocks from Danielle Steele's castle-like mansion. The unit was impeccably clean and neat - even nicer and more spacious than the pictures.
The gorgeous kitchen was on the small side but had super high-end everything, and it was well stocked with everything we could have wanted. Because we were in SF, the foodie capital of the world, we ate all our dinners out, but we easily prepared many breakfasts and lunches there. The location was ideal, allowing us to walk to Fillmore St/Pac Hts, Union St/The Marina, and Polk St/Russian Hill.
The view deck on the roof was a nice treat. The weather was nice when we were there, so it was nice to see both the Golden Gate Bridge and the transamerica pyramid while enjoying our morning coffee or a glass of wine during happy hour. Sometimes we were in pajamas, but a couple times we did have to wear our parkas up there, but that's SF weather for you. In several visits up there, we only saw someone else once, so it was almost like having a private view deck. Thank god it wasn't when we were in our PJs - lol!
We were totally prepared to share a bed, but we found that the place has a cute little office that was plenty big enough for the smaller of TWO provided airbeds. The bigger queen-sized one would have had to go into the living room, and since the living room is huge, there would have been ample room for it, but this way my friend had her own room and didn't need to feel self-conscious about making the bed each day! The bedroom is very spacious and the bed was super comfortable with a big fluffy comforter.
The beautifully tiled bathroom had both a shower and bath tub, and we especially loved taking baths after days of walking on SF hills, and Gail provided 4 star towels, soap and shampoo for our use.
For the two of us, it was infinitely better than a hotel, and I'm suddenly hooked on both Airbnb and Gail's Spacious Elegant Pac Heights Condo.
