The cabin is a custom built home with unique hand crafted touches, from the spiral staircase built from a maple trunk felled on the property to the custom built log furniture. The comes fully equipped with all essential kitchen equipment, a full size washer and dryer and a hot tub off the back deck. One bundle of firewood (8-12 pieces) is provided per stay for indoor burning or for the outside fire-pit when a burn ban is not in effect. Additional firewood is available in the town of Packwood for purchase. Come, relax and enjoy!

Pine Lodge is a fully furnished family owned and operated cabin that sleeps 12 comfortably with three bedrooms and an oversized loft (more so like an upstairs in design). We also offer WiFi.
The main (entrance) floor offers a spacious living area including a open floor plan living/dining room containing a wood stove, and a fully equipped kitchen that connects out to the large 1/2 wrap around porch offering a gas BBQ, an outdoor table that seats 12 with outdoor heaters above, making this an ideal cabin for large family meals. The main floor also provides guests with a full bathroom, three bedrooms; the first being a queen bedroom having French doors opening up to the private back porch and covered hot tub. The second and third full size bedrooms offer private additional room that comfortably sleep two people per room. After ascending the hand crafted spiral staircase off of the living room guests head into the loft encompassing a television/gaming entertainment area offering a double futon convertible bed at first sight. The loft also provides additional sleeping for 6 in twin beds with a 1/2 bath. Within the open bunk area of the loft the young and young at heart will find a foosball table for hours of entertainment! The loft offers a private balcony through yet another set of french doors with relaxing/star gazing seating overlooking the backyard and family circle recreational burning area and custom log swing/seat & a hammock in the summer season. Guests can enjoy nightly fires with friends and family utilizing the wood burning outdoor firepit while enjoying the peaceful sounds of the wilderness.
The cabin sits just minutes from National Forest (literally across the street) and the Cowlitz River.
Skiing, fishing, kayaking, hunting, mountain biking, hiking and wild mushroom picking are all available in the nearby forests with Mt. Rainer National park being just minutes from the cabin.
Pine Lodge offers 4 sets of snow shoes for guests use (on site) and a few sleds as well (on site).

While you may park your RV with owner permission on the property, we do not allow guests to stay in their RV's on-site. We do not allow tents to be set up on the property.

Guests may access the entire property, except the locked wood or personal shed without prior permission.
Other things to note
Coal Creek /National Forest across from the cabin is only accessible via specific easements posted on a map by the front door. A specific trail 2 streets down from the cabin leads to waterfalls & rock-slides. Please do not access the Creek immediately across the street from the cabin.
