This room is very quiet near the end of a small lane yet close to town. My in-laws stay was very restful! Thank you AirBnb!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Wood Lane cottage. It's a quaint little cottage in a peaceful and quiet setting. The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed. Fairfax is a charming town has everything you need and is within walking distance. Not far to get into San Francisco either. Highly recommend. Joan was very hospitable as well.
Stayed at Joan's cottage fire two great nights. Fairfax is a fantastic little town and a short drive to wine country which I loved. The space is perfect for 1-2 people - the cottage is so cute/cozy. Neighborhood was also very safe and friendly!
We loved our stay here. The place was immaculate, cozy and perfect for all our needs. We enjoyed the peaceful quiet neighborhood and the bed was extremely comfortable. We'd come back again!
This is a great little woodsy spot. Joan had it nice and clean for us when we arrived and gave clear instructions. It is pretty close to the main house, though this didn't bother us since we were just passing through (more likely to bother someone looking for extra privacy). Fairfax was a cute town to visit as well.
I unfortunately was unable to meet Joan as she was out of town, but she was very communicative and helpful. Her place is exactly what you'd expect from the photos - very tidy and perfect if you don't plan on cooking. I did wish there was a microwave so we could reheat our leftovers, but not a big deal. The property is beautiful and nestled in a great neighborhood. Highly recommended and perfect for a little getaway.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the Wood lane guesthouse. The place is even better than described - nestled in a beautiful quiet back yard, with birds and wildlife all around. The town of Fairfax was wonderful as well. We had planned on going on trips, but ended up staying in town. Great restaurants and bars (make sure to visit Sorella Caffe on Bolinas road), and wonderful little peaks to hike for amazing views. Would definitely go back! Thanks for having us, Joan.
