Staying at Joan's Wood Lane Guesthouse was an absolutely wonderful experience. The house exceeded expectations with its super cute cottage feel and beautiful interior. Joan was a great host and graciously left us tea and coffee. The linens were clean and there was a convenient kitchenette. The grounds surrounding the house were beautifully lush gardens and the neighborhood was very quiet. I would stay at Joan's guesthouse again anytime.
Joan's cottage is a perfect get away from the busyness of the bay area. It's also well prepared with all the things you could possibly need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The guest house is located near the Mt. Tam watershed and Deer Park which make a beautiful place to hike or run. It's also very near the lovely town of fairfax making it easy and accessible to take care of all your needs. I look forward to returning to relaxing at wood lane guest house and exploring the beauty of the area.
This is the third time I have stayed at the Wood Lane Guest House, which is all you really need to know about my experiences there! Its the perfect little cottage from which to explore Fairfax and the rest of beautiful Marin. As always, very clean, very convenient and fully equipped with everything you need. Joan is wonderful too! A fantastic value.
This is a really great, cozy, quiet cottage. Joan is a very helpful and accommodating host. We were quite busy and didn't get a chance to talk much to the host, but I enjoyed our short conversations. The heater works great and I really liked the bed. I will definitely try to rent here again when I have more business in the area.
This is a separate cabin set into a hillside with tall redwood trees, and Joan is a friendly and considerate hostess. It is amazingly quiet for being so close to a bustling town.
This cottage is very cute and cozy. My husband and I enjoyed our one night stay.
I have had the privilege of traveling extensively and love accommodating guests that enjoy traveling to this special place.

I have lived here for many years and feel very fortunate to live where I live, work with passion and legalize kindness.
