Trendy in Wonderful Copenhagen

Apartment - Private room · Hiort Lorenzens Gade, Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark 2200, Denmark

The Space

Balcony, own bathroom, very clean, free Wi-Fi, cabel-tv in living room, cheap parking in the street and a whole lot more :-) Espresso machine, access to state of the art kitchen and most important of all very comfortable beds.

The neighborhood is very trendy due to it's ethnical diversity and bulges with cool cafés, bars and restaurants, and shopping malls nearby.

The flat is within a short and sightseable stroll to downtown, or if you prefer, public transportation is very close too. The coolest way to get around in Copenhagen is by bike so you should consider renting one.

How to get here?

From the airport: Take the metro M2 (direction Vanløse) and get off at the stop called "Forum". From here you can enjoy a 10 minute walk or catch a bus (for example number 68). This will leave you 300 meters from the apartment. Only 30 min. total travel time from the airport!

From Copenhagen Central Station take bus 66 towards Emdrup torv and get off at Skyttegade and walk for 250 m. 15 min. only!

  • Erol has a wonderful house and makes you feel right at home. The neighborhood couldn't be nicer, either. I really recommend staying here!

  • Erol has a lovely, clean, spacious apartment that was very comfortable to stay. I slept in a room that had a comfortable but small twin bed--for anyone who is tall or large, it might be a bit tight. It is a bit of a walk from the nearest metro stop (Forum), and from the city center so it would be great to have a bike while staying there. The area is perfectly safe, but off a major boulevard in a large (but nice) apartment complex that doesn't have a lot of little shops and cafes right nearby, so it felt a bit removed from the 'action' if you will. That might be a bonus for some people--it was extremely pleasant, quiet and peaceful. I appreciated Erol's willingness to leave me in his place on my own the last couple nights while he went out of town. My plans kept changing and he was very understanding and flexible. Make note of the extra charges--I hadn't seen or understood them and he was kind enough to negotiate with me, but I still am not clear on why there's a nightly linen fee (for every night your stay) when there was never a need for new towels or sheets. I feel Airbnb should clear up the policy with hosts and extra charges so guests don't have to read the small print with every booking and have cash on hand to give hosts--that's the whole point of booking and paying online. All in all great place for the price--Erol is very nice and bonus for the great coffee machine that is there for you in the morning!

  • It's a really cozy home in the central city of Copenhagen. Erol is considerate and well-round host to provide you the info about the city. I will be sure to choose it again if I visit Copenhagen next time.

  • Erol was a generous host in a comfy apartment that's in a great neighborhood. We would try and stay there again.

    September 2013
  • The apartment was beautiful and in a great location BUT we were very surprised to discover Erol would be staying with us. He had assured us in previous emails that we would have the whole apartment, other than his bedroom, which would be locked, but that he would not be staying there. He was in fact there, and stayed most nights. We were a group of 7, with 4 of us staying at Erol’s apartment, and it was made clear to us that our other friends were not welcome in his apartment. He told us he had never had anyone so noisy, but we were in fact 2 sisters with our mother and aunty, and were always in bed before 11pm. Quite disappointing and very strange having someone in the apartment. Nevertheless, if you wanted to share with someone, or understand that Erol does stay there, the apartment is great and I would highly recommend it.

  • Great apartment in a lovely location of Copenhagen. Erol was a great host, very easy going and helpful with great suggestions of places to see and eat. Had my own bathroom which was ideal, and use of a very well kitted out kitchen! Would definitely recommend!

  • nice guy, nice apartment, nice location, but be aware that you are not renting the whole apartment, only one or two rooms, so you will spare it with him!

Hi travellers of all ages! I'm a chef and have lived in Copenhagen for 25 years. I'm originally from Montreal; Canada but, as some of you might have guessed it, my roots are from Armenia. So I suppose I'm pretty multicultural. I obviously enjoy cooking, hosting, travelling, the movies and I'm a pretty serious runner too! So I'll show my favourite running paths. I usually book B&B when I travel and will try to make you feel at home in any way I can. I hope you'll visit Copenhagen and that I will be hosting you in order to make your stay memorable.
