The apartment is placed in Piazza Duca di Genova, a charming square, in front of the most important baroque's monument of Catania, Palazzo Biscari, nearby the Cathedral.
It's a perfect point of departure to visit Catania's historical city centre by feet, just walking. At the same time, it's confortable if you want to travel around sicily by car, the higway is only 2,5 km far.
You can reach by feet a lot of delicious restaurants and pubs (i can give you some suggestions about, if you want).
The apartment is inside an eighteenth century's palace, and is composed by a small waiting room, a large bedroom, a kitchen/dining room (with a sofa bed), and the bathroom. Rooms are furnished in modern style.
Finally, the apartment is easy to reach: from the airport, take the bus to the city and get off at Piazza Borsellino. My house is 250 mt far from there.
P.S. (I apologize for my awful english).
No pets, no smocking.
Localisation is ok - very close to Piazza Duomo i.e. 200-300m.
Flat is a good option for a couple students - close to pubs.
Maria and her partner are very friendly and helpful.
Easy to find. Maria was great with a rushed check in. She also recommended a place to wait while the other guests left. il dolci nonna Vicenza (I think) right down the end of the st and we spent way to much money there it's amazing. Easy access to there apartment, up two flights of stairs. Maria and her partner didn't really offer up any information and there wasn't a house guide type thing which meant we had to text our queries. There is a basket with some pamphlets and booklets guests I think have left behind and that was great! We left some info about a tour :) bed was big a comfortable. It's spacious, no actual lounge though. Water pressure fine although we done run out of hot water quickly. For use of the stove top turn the yellow knob under the sink on.
