Amazing Bourbon villa, excellent service, welcoming hosts! Thank you, Emma!
We had a wonderful stay with Emma! Emma is so welcoming and kind and the villa is absolutely wonderful, full of antiques and beautiful furniture. Emma made us feel so welcome and at home and we had a delicious meal one evening at the villa. The room was very comfortable and clean. The villa is very well located for visiting Naples and Herculaneum, there is a train station nearby with trains running into Naples.
I really enjoyed my stay at the villa. The family was extremely accommodating and even gave us an upgraded room for the night. The villa was beautiful and the hosts were incredibly gracious and kind. We got great recommendations for places to eat and things to see in the area. It was about 15 minutes from Naples so it was the perfect location to Naples, Pompeii and the Amalfi coast. The views from the roof deck are amazing!
Emma and her family have a beautifully restored 300 year old villa that has been in the family for 4 generations. The house itself is worth the visit. Emma & her family were all very helpful, accommodating and professional. While this is their home, it's a working B&B. The room was comfortable & clean and the breakfast room a delight to enjoy a 'typical' Italian breakfast in the mornings. Fresh squeezed orange juice was a treat. Emma accommodated my need for frequent cups of tea too. If you're coming to this area, print out the directions before you come. While it's easy to locate the property once you have been there, the street names are not easy to locate. The GPS data connection didn't work from the Portici train station as it's in a valley & you need to head up the hill to the property. Great central location to visit the sites of the area with only a 10-15 minute walk to the train station.
Amazing house and a very welcoming host! The only regret I have is that we only spend 1 night! Wonderful view from the rooftop and tasty breakfast! Best coffee I had during our roadtrip in Italy!
