From the cottage, you're next door to the The Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands Provincial Park.

Thanks for your help in preserving Roost Cottage and enjoy your wonderful vacation!
Marina was super helpful through-out the entire process, and allowed us to extend our stay. The house and the lake are a wonderful place for a family get together in the country. The music and movie library are amazing and great for those rainy days. We had a delightful week.
Our stay at the Roost Cottage was amazing. There was so much to do inside and outside, we were able to go canoing, kayaking and jumping off the dock. The weather wasn't the greatest so on some occasions we stayed indoors, during that time, there were lots of movies and board games to choose from.
The place was clean, tidy plus the kitchen had the perfect essentials for a cottage.
My family had a blast and they would certainly recommend this place.
Totally exceeded our expectations! My family and I had the pleasure to stay at this beautiful cottage for 10 days in May. Everything about this cottage, from the inside to outside was incredible. Luxurious cottage with so many wonderful amenities. We loved the steam sauna, chef kitchen, apple TV with enormous amount of movies, beautiful living room with a stunning view and of course the lakefront outdoor space! Moore Lake is beautiful and having the chance to canoe through it was incredible. Marina is an awesome host, she was able to answer every single question we had in usually one hour or less. Highly recommend this cottage and would for sure come back next time!
Thank you for such an amazing getaway from the city!
Great winter cottage weekend. Everything was as described in the listing. Lots of room for 6 adults. High quality amenities, kitchen supplies etc. and great entertainment selection (movies, games, etc.). The view of of the lake, as well as the surrounding area were really beautiful. Wifi was OKAY and the heating a bit temperamental.
We were really happy with our stay and hope to return. Marina was really friendly and informative. We highly recommend!
Thanks Graeme, you are our first winter guest! Wish we had heard about the about the WiFi as there are two networks to choose (website hidden) heating, we use a programmable Nest thermostat that can be easily adjusted to your comfort :) Hope you checked out the steam room!
We had a great time at Marina's cottage. It's just rustic enough to feel like a cottage, but very well equipped. The kayaks were great, the shower is amazing, and the entertainment system can keep you busy for years. Hope to head back next summer.
I just had an incredible stay at the cottage with my 10 year old nephew for a week. Marina is the perfect host, proactive and responsive - anticipating all of our needs and questions. While we were impressed with the pictures, they did not do the cottage justice. Spacious, clean and with the right balance of cottage rustic with convenient modern amenities. Location is great too - its an easy 2 hour drive from Toronto - avoiding the crazy Muskoka traffic...
Would definitely stay again. Thanks Marina for a great week!
We had a wonderful time at Marina´s cottage. The pictures capture the cottage, lake and surroundings quite nicely.
The cottage is extremely well kept and everything is in working order as described.
If the weather had not been as nice as it was, we would have had some more time to enjoy the vast video and game collection that was available to us.
The property is beautiful and the cottage has everything one could wish for.
Fishing was good on the lake near the falls as well as in the neighbouring lake which is already in the parklands.
The paddle over to this lake is a nice short trip through a little creek.
The only two (very slight) drawbacks were the traffic on Hwy 35, that can be heard from the cottage.
Further we encountered some rather reckless power boat drivers who seem to find it funny to come as close as possible to someone in a canoe who then has to deal with the wake. (This was only an issue on Saturday as during the week there was hardly any boat traffic on the lake).
Also, communication with Marina was excellent, she responded promptly and with all information that we needed.
Again, we would love to come back in the future.
