Camilla's apartment was perfect for us! It was in the perfect location and not far at all from either train station. It's really well equipped and we had everything we needed. Camilla checked we were ok throughout our stay. Perfect place for your exploration of Florence, we'll definitely return.
We were very lucky to have found Camilla's fantastic apartment, it was absolutely perfect! It's the most amazing location, you really couldn't be anywhere better and the apartment is clean and lovely inside. Camilla was a real star, so helpful and very kindly greeted us even though we arrived at 10pm on a Tuesday night! We had a wonderful few days, would totally recommend staying her and will definitely be back! Thanks Camilla
I spent a month staying in the wonderful apartment. Camilla was an excellent host who communicated very clearly and quickly in the months leading up to my stay. She answered all of my questions very promptly. The pictures of the apartment are accurate and, if anything, do not do it justice. The apartment is small, but the space is organized very well which makes it feel more spacious. I appreciated how spotlessly clean it was. Camilla checked in regularly with me during my stay and even treated me to a coffee. She was flexible and understanding when, due to a change in flight, I had to leave a day early. The apartment is in a great location, central to all the sights in the historical center.
This was our favorite airbnb on our honeymoon to Italy! We were greeted by the sweet cleaning lady, Lidia. There was a small gift basket with food and wine. The flat is in a terrific location! The neighborhood is charming. Camilla recommended several restaurants that were delicious and authentic Florentine cuisine. She communicated with us before, during, and after our stay. I give this airbnb the highest recommendation! Thank you Camilla!
Great apartment in Florence. Such a pretty city and great location in the heart of it. A short walk to ponte vecchio, comfortable, clean and a beautiful care package for us with some dinner treats and wine.
Thanks for having us!
Camilla's apartment was a fantastic location to explore Florence from. It was only a 10 minute walk from every major attraction and very close to restaurants and the Arno too. The place itself was really clean, fairly large, and had a well stocked kitchen. Camilla even prepared a food basket with pasta, snacks and wine. We met her friend Lidia who was super sweet and helped us carry our luggages. Overall both women were always willing to help in any way they could and made sure our stay was fantastic. Thank you!
I just returned from my first time trip to Tuscany and Firenze and would like to thank Camilla for helping to make it one of the most memorable vacations of my life.
I was welcomed in the most gracious way by Camilla who gave me a nice little gift basket on my arrival that included some goodies and tasty wine.
She spent a great deal of time welcoming me and showing me around the apartment. I couldn't have been better situated in the Historic section of Firenze! Within two blocks of the apartment was everything I needed for my everyday needs. The Conad supermarket was well supplied and had good prices.
The neighborhood is filled with young American students enjoying the cafes and restaurants that abound on Via Dei Neri and Via Del Benci . Most of the nearby restaurants were good.( didn't care much for the "Dim Sum" place.) The very famous Osteria all' Antica Vinaio with the self service wine and spectacular Panini is a must. I was introduced to Trattoria Alfredo around the corner and found it to be everything I could want in a Tuscan Resaurant. The owner Alfredo knows his stuff. The table with desserts can only be described as an altar.
The apartment itself is located within two blocks of The Museo Ufizzi, the Palazio Vecchia, and the Ponte Vecchio. Most of the famous sites and museums are within easy walking distance . The train station and regional bus lines are brisk twenty minute walk. The apartment was compact, efficient, and came with just about everything I needed. It is clean and comfortable with a nice little bathroom that comes complete with tons of hot (email hidden)eat shower! There was only one drewback and that wes that it is not the quietest of apartments. Ear plugs are sometimes handy to have but I slept well most of the time. I think that most of the old part of town tends to be somewhat noisy and much of it is the result of drunks( many of whom are American) going home after the bars close.
