My husband and I spent two weeks in Italy for our honeymoon. It was our first time using airbnb so we didn't know exactly what to expect, but we had a great experience. The flat is indeed very charming and in a good location. We also liked our hostess Camilla. She was very helpful, enthusiastic and friendly, which made us feel more welcome. She even had a little gift basket of food and wine ready for us! At the end of our trip, she even loaned us 20 euro for our cab to the airport as we forgot to go to the ATM the day before. We loved Florence and would definitely stay here again!
Camilla is a great host, very charming, friendly, trusty and thoughtful.Camilla has kept everything informed us and gave us great advice for traveling. She was friendly and made us feel right at home. The stay was exactly perfect what my husband and I were looking for.She gave us a basket full of pasta, sauce, crackers, a bottle of red wine, fruits, we are very much glad to have something there when we arrived. We came late due to the changes of our flight and Camilla always updating and respond our messages as quick as she can ,It had everything we could possibly want, and when we next go back to Florence, We will stay there again .Perfect place and perfect for our second honeymoon.THANKS AGAIN CAMILLA<3
Unfortunatly I did not have the chance to meet Camilla because she was working but her father welcomed us. He was really nice!
Our flight was canceled so we missed the first night and arrived a day later. Camilla was so nice, helpful and understanding.
She did everything she could to make our stay as good as possible and she did it very well!
I hightly recommand her place. The apartment is as pretty as it is on the pictures. Really clean and absolutly perfect location.
Thank you so much to her.
Consigliatissimo!
This apartment is outstanding great. Nice location, comfortable mattress, and a small but functional kitchen. It's just 5 mins to Galleria degli Uffizi and Plazza della Signoria. I can tell you this is definitely your best choice on Airbnb in Firenze. I'll stay in this apartment if I visit Firenze again.
This airbnb apartment would be perfect for anyone spending time in Florence. It has absolutely everything needed for a great holiday. The location is perfect to walk to any of the major sites and is only a 5 minute taxi ride from the train station. It has some excellent restaurants, supermarkets and other stores very close by.
The best part of the apartment has to be the lovely host Camilla. She met us at the door and provided not only excellent advice about the surrounding area but also a lovely gift basket. It was great to receive such a warm and friendly welcome into Florence which is a nice way to start a holiday.
Camilla also emailed us heaps of suggestions during our stay and was able to be contacted anytime via phone or computer. We will be booking this apartment again the next time we visit Florence.
This apartment has no frescoes, no gilded altarpieces, no famous paintings, and it is more compact than many rooms in Firenze's museums, but it's the perfect base to explore the city. Located practically riverside, right next to the Uffizi, it's less than a minute away from all the tourists but just outside the zone where things are the craziest. Spacious bedroom, cosy living room, a very practical kitchen and well-functioning Wifi, what more can you need? Camilla was very helpful, efficient and patient, making my stay super easy.
The apartment was perfect! It is ideally central to everything you would want to see in Florence. You could not ask for a better location. The room is clean, spacious and cozy. The kitchen has all the essentials, including the wonderful basket Camilla kindly leaves for her guests to enjoy. I read the reviews before booking and I don't think I can add anything more really. We took a taxi from the airport and Camilla was alreaady waiting outside when we arrived. I honestly hope all Airbnb hosts are as wonderful and helpful as Camilla : )
There is absolutely nothing to complain about with Camilla's apartment. It is comfortable, extremely well-located, and stocked with everything you need for your stay....cook at home if you wish; there are cooking implements.....leave your hairdryer home, hers works great....have a wonderful hot shower after your long day of taking in the sights of the beautiful city...Get a good night's sleep in the comfortable bed....walk everywhere from the apartment....the Uffizi, Bargello, Gallileo, and Palazzo de Vecchio museums are minutes away...as are many other historical buildings and piazzas. Via de Neri is half a block away and provides all kinds of eateries, shops, little markets, and coffee places....Camilla herself is a gem! Friendly, kind, welcoming and there to help you whatever you need. She is the kind of host you want when you are traveling. She will leave you pasta/sauce, crackers, a bottle of wine, fruit, water and juice....so you have something there when you arrive....it is most welcome when you are tired and not oriented to the city yet. Just a note....Florence can be noisy (all those Vespas)!...so bring some earplugs if you're sensitive to sound...I did, and slept like a baby when I really needed a good rest. Add the reasonable price, and I can't think of any reason NOT to stay here....do yourself a favor and book her place...and be in the heart of Florence, feel safe, and be happy that you are so close to everything! Thanks again, Camilla!!!
