This vacation/ski condo is a great retreat right near the Lincoln Peak side of Sugarbush. The Condos were built in the seventies on stilts to accommodate the slope of the mountain! They are really unique.

Description

The Space

Our condo is walking distance to the Sugarbush Resort, Lincoln Peak base area. It provides for quick on/off slope access and just a quick walk to the Sugarbush Health and Racquet Club as well as restaurants and pubs.

Our condo complex was built in the 70s. The unit is one of 4 in our building block. The complex is high up on the mountain side and utilizes a neat "stilts" style construction. Parking is just outside the door and is readily available in summer, but can be tight in winter.

Our condo has a magnificent view of the far side of the valley in the winter, is one of the quietest places to stay in summer with the vibrant valley life at your finger tips year round.

The Mad bus picks up skiers/boarders at the exit of our complex and also runs free shuttles to various destinations around the valley.

Guests have a direct access private walkway entry into our condo with no stairs to climb! The entire condo is available for guest use. There is a private deck as well as a private storage room for ski/snowboard equipment. There is also laundry machines in the storage room.

We typically do not have any in person interaction with our guests, mostly due to the fact that while our condo is rented, we are out of town. If there are issues with our condo during a stay we ourselves may come to the condo to remedy the issues or may send the appropriate maintenance person.


The Mad River valley is a very welcome corner of Vermont. In the summer, there is a Farmers Market every Saturday at the Fiddlers green in Waitsfield. You can sample local foods and art and listen to great local musicians.
The Ski Resort area is ever growing! There are more and more amenities within walking distance each year.

While the Ski Resort area is walkable from our condo, the rest of the valley requires transportation. The Mad Bus runs on a set schedule certain times of year and can be called on demand for rides within it's route including the grocery store.

Due to strict fire regulations, our condos fireplace is not available this winter we are waiting to hear the towns ruling on allowing wood burning fireplaces in condos and then we will decide what kind of system we will replace our current fireplace with. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Guest Access

Interaction with Guests

We typically do not have any in person interaction with our guests, mostly due to the fact that while our condo is rented, we are out of town. If there are issues with our condo during a stay we ourselves may come to the condo to remedy the issues or may send the appropriate maintenance person.

Due to our standard lack of personal interaction, we have chosen to only accept renters with a previous rental history on AirBnB with positive feedback.

Due to concerns about the care and maintenance of our condo, we choose to accept bookings from only those AirBNB members who have prior bookings with positive feedback.

Please note: we have a 2 night minimum except around the holidays during ski season which we require a 5 night minimum.

Due to strict fire regulations, our condos fireplace is not available this winter. We apologize for the inconvenience, but next winter we will have a new fireplace for everyone's use!

House Rules

We provide linens and towels. We request that at check out, all used linens and towels are left in piles on the floor so we know which items are in need of laundering.

We request that you leave our condo as clean and organized when you leave as it was when you arrived.

We request that if there are any issues while you are renting, that you call us for assistance.

We request that all sports equipment including bikes, skis, snow boards are not stored inside the condo. They should be stored in our detached storage room.

No smoking, no pets. Our association does not allow renters to have pets and we also do not approve of pets in our condo.
