A whole HOME-YACHT for you + WIFI

Boat - Entire home/apt · Via Torino, Mestre, Veneto 30172, Italy

Have you ever spent a night in a boat? If you come to visit Venice, why not try to live in a yacht? She is moored in a safe and quite marina very close to the historical city center and easily reachable from Venice/Treviso airport and train station.

The Space

THE BOAT IS NOW OPEN AGAIN AFTER THE WINTER CLOSING, I WAIT FOR YOU!

Have you ever spent a night in a boat? If you come to visit Venice, why not try to live in a yacht? My BAYLINER 2855 has two double beds. The whole boat will be only for you, there will be nobody else but you.

There will be a complimentary Italian wine bottle in the fridge to welcome you aboard. You can take a cocktail in the inner table or outside in the spacious cockpit. You can prepare also your own coffee with the complimentary espresso machine.

The boat is moored in a very safe marina in Mestre close to Venice. Within walking distance there are many restaurants and bar (breakfast, Italian cuisine, pizza, grilled chicken, sushi, seafood), 2 super-markets, a pharmacy, a post office and 3 bus stops (night and day). Mestre is very well located to visit also Treviso and Padua (easily reachable by train in 15 mins).

It includes a bathroom with wc. If you prefer, you can use also the standard bathrooms/showers of the marina just 25 meters from the boat.

There is free WIFI aboard.

For anything you may need I'll be always available since I live in front of my boat.

There is a free park close to the boat.

HOW TO REACH VENICE FROM MY BOAT

- car taxi: 5 minutes for 15 euros
- bus: walk for 10 min and bus number 4 for 1,3 euros (also during the night with bus N2)
- train: walk for 10 min and take a train for 1 euro

HOW TO REACH MY BOAT

The boat is very close to NH Laguna Palace Hotel, so please take this building as reference when you are arriving.

- My boat is 20 mins feet distance from Mestre train station and 15 mins taxi from Venice airport.
- From train station of Venezia-Mestre (not Venezia-S. Lucia) you can take bus 31 for 1,3 euros or a taxi for 15 euros.
- From Venice airport you can take bus 15 for 6 euros or a taxi for 50 euros.
- From Treviso airport you can take ATVO bus for 6 euros up to Mestre train station.

As an option, if you want, the boat is available for trips on the lagoon with an extra price to cover fuel expenses. My suggested trips are:

1) short trip: 4/5 hours

cost: 200 euros petrol included (per trip, not per person)

2) long trip 8/9 hours

cost: 400 euros petrol and lunch included (per trip, not per person)

3) a night in Venice like a Venetian
with our smaller boat we reach Venice and we go across the little channels eating typical Venetian food and drinks

  • Angelo was very nice and helpful. He responded to our questions very promptly and was available when we needed him.

We stayed in his yacth for 2 nights and it was a lovely experience. The boat has everything you need and is well located in Mestre. Close to bus stops, grocery stores, restaurants and post office.

The area is very quiet and you sleep well. Very safe too.

It takes 10-15 minutes by bus to get to Venice.

If you're looking for a neat experience, i recommended staying in Angelo's boat! :)

  • We really enjoyed staying on Angelo's boat. It was clean and cozy; ideal for a romantic weekend away in Venice. It was very easy to get in and out of Venice by bus. Thanks for letting us stay on your boat.

  • My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Angelo's boat. Everything was exactly like he explained it on the website as well as the images he show cases. He was also very responsive through out our stay which was helpful. Unfortunately the wifi never worked for us but everything else was perfect! Perfect place away from the crowds as well.

    Response from Angelo:

Dear Anabel thanks for your feedback. Since latest guests had similar problem with wifi, I have now changed the modem to offer a better signal in the boat.

  • Time which we have spent on Angelo's boat was unforgettable! Everything was just the same as on pictures. Angelo's girfriend pick up us near the hotel because it was late, and she explained all important staff. She was really nice and polite. Inside the boat whole bottle of shampagne and candies were wainting for us! Me and my friend were there 3 nights, and it was our first night on yacht. With my whole heart i can recommended that place to everyone. For me was the best!

  • Stay on the boat was nice. Going to venice by bus is very easy. Angelo is very helpful and give a good shot intoduction about the facillities. Only negative point to mention is, that the marina toilette and shower is not that clean. so we avoid to take a shower at our stay.

  • Boat and neigbourhood were wonderful and clean, it's a very special experience. Angelo was very helpful and attentive. The only problem was the wifi didn't work correctly.
It was a pleasure to stay there.

  • Angelo is a very nice host. However we found the boat to be a little inconvenient for us. There is no shower on the boat so we had to use marina restroom(listing does state this). The boat itself was clean but the bathrooms for the marina were not. They did not appear to be maintained very well. For example, there was no toilet paper, the ceiling in ladies room was caving in a bit... Also, for those relying on wifi as we were, the connection is not available on the boat but instead can be reached off the boat. even then the signal strength is not strong. It is parked on the marina and it is a quiet and safe neighborhood.

    Response from Angelo:

Thanks Jennifer for your feedback. I'll speak with the marina manager to upgrade the bathrooms. About toilet paper, there is always a supply inside my boat. About wifi coverage I'll try to change the antenna to offer a better signal.

About
I live between Malta and Italy but my heart is in Venice. I always travel for business and I love the sea. In 2007 I sailed for six months aboard an Ovni 43 as a skipper. Our trip covered: Venezuela, Caribbean Islands, Atlantic Ocean crossing, Acores, Portugal, Spain, Baleares, Corse, Sardinia. Now I want to give to my guests the same experience I lived around the world.
