  • Judy was a wonderful host. The cottage was clean and neat. In a wonderful family neighborhood. Located near the airport and a short drive to Kona. The back deck faced a beautiful jungle like setting. We would definitely stay here again.

  • We really enjoyed our stay in Judy's place. The place was clean, spacious and in a natural setting. She was kind and most accommodating. Judy's place was well equipped with just about anything you needed. She even had snorkel gears to lend out for free!

The best BnB place I ever resided! Wish all the places were as well equipped and clean as hers!

    Response from Judy:

Aloha, So glad you had a good stay and enjoyed yourselves. We'd love to have you back anytime. Take care. Judy

  • Judy's place is brilliant, it's a short drive outside of Kona but well worth it. The accommodation comes with everything you'd need and more, everything you'll need for the beach is there to borrow. Judy was really friendly and flexible - we changed our arrival time at the last minute and she was still there to show us around late at night. If i was visiting Kona again I'd be hoping Judy's place was available!

Hoping you can come back again to visit soon. We loved having you two. Take care!

  • Judy was very kind and accommodating, she had originally not meant to have the dates available that we wanted to stay, but made an exception and allowed us to come anyway, I'm very glad she did! She was especially patient when we did not have service the 3 days prior to arriving; we weren't able to tell her we were coming until an hour before hand and she was very understanding and available to show us around anyway. Her cottage is very clean and looks even nicer in person than in the pictures. She thoughtfully provides many complimentary items such as sunscreen, boogie boards, and beach mats. There was also a bit of food stocked, just random odds and ends really, but a pleasant surprise and extremely convenient when my husband and I didn't have time to go out our first night in Kona. We found a can of baked beans and some popcorn and juice and were quite content to eat that and and take a warm shower and get some extra rest in her comfy bed before our last full day on the island. Breakfast was bagels with cream cheese one day and apple cinnamon oatmeal the next. It was so nice to have that already taken care of so we didn't have to spend time shopping for breakfast food. She even had chips and granola bars and we took those as snacks on our day out snorkeling. We flew in from Hilo and stayed on that side of the island before exploring Kona and staying with Judy, however if you are flying into Kona, her location is quite ideal, so close to that airport! I would definitely stay with her again and recommend her. She is really a very nice person and keeps her place so clean. She is very welcoming and helpful. The only thing that wasn't perfect was accidentally stepping in cat poo my first day, as there are quite a few feral cats. That's is simply an issue on many parts of the island though, and probably can't be avoided, but even still she showed me where the hose was and that took care of that.
Overall, the quality and cleanliness of the cabin and host is very high, and the price is very reasonable and I would highly recommend!
Thank you for a very lovely stay!

  • Just an amazing private house in a good location. Really handy for exploring the north of the Big Island. Minutes from the airport yet private and quiet.

Judy was a brilliant host too and even got us a bottle of wine to celebrate our honeymoon.

    Book this place now!

  • The accomodations are very clean, the back deck provides cooling mountain breezes in the afternon and evening after a morning/day at the beach and the host, Judy, is a class act. She is green if that is important to you and the cottage and house are almost at the end of the road bordering a nature preserve. Extremely peaceful. We will return.
