About this listing

Welcome to my cool, recently renovated 109 sqm flat located on the 2nd floor in the heart of trendy old Islands Brygge a 10 min. walk from the centre of Copenhagen.

The space

The flat consist of a large, fully equiped kitchen, a dining room for 6-10 guests, a cozy living room, a spacious bedroom and a bathroom with shower. There is also a small guest toilet.

The design of this bright flat is a mixture of classics from the 1950's scandinavian design movement and modern details. I'll make sure you will feel right at home with fresh flowers, coffee and information on sights, shopping and events in Copenhagen and the surrounding area before you are off on your own.

Relax with Netflix in the big livingroom after a day of sightseeing or shopping. Cook a meal for your friends in the scandinavian style kitchen or barbecue in one of the biggest and greenest courtyards in Copenhagen or at the waterfront just a 5 min. walk away.

The neighbourhood is one of the trendiest places to live in Copenhagen with easy access to the waterfront (Havnebadet), green areas (Amager Fælled), the city centre (10 min. on foot), waterbus and metro with connection to the airport (5 min. on foot). Within a distance of 500 m. you'll find four super markets, a wide selection of cafees, restaurant and wine bars, two greengrocers shops, one of the best bakeries in town as well as the no. 1 ice cream shop!

The spacious bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed. It is quiet, facing the courtyard. A double electric airmattress is available for two extra quests in the livingroom.

The bathroom is small with a shower but clean and practical and the flat has an extra toilet. Bring your own towels.

There is free wifi available as well as use of cable tv, stereo, dish washer, microwave oven, oven, gas stove, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Free parking approx. 200 m. down the street. One bike available.

I can't wait to welcome you to my flat in the best city in Scandinavia!

Once again I stayed in Charlotte's apartment and I was happy that I did. Charlotte is the perfect host and the apartment is clean, spacious and close to Islands Brygge cozy shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!

This was my third visit in Charlotte’s apartment. My wife and my 2-year old daughter joined me this time. Charlotte was so kind to organize a baby bed, bed linen and a baby’s high chair for our daughter. In the courtyard of the apartment is a huge garden and playground, simply perfect for little toddlers. It was a very nice stay and we thank Charlotte for her hospitality and warm welcome.

Charlotte was the perfect host, and her apartment was immaculate. She met us on arrival and gave us all the details we needed for a fun filled break in beautiful Copenhagen! The apartment was easy to find and ideally located for walking to town and spending lazy evenings in the sunshine by the harbour. The metro is so easy and convenient to use and enabled us to pack a lot into our short stay. We are a family of four (2 boys aged 10 and 8) and Charlotte's apartment worked very well for us. Everything we needed was there. We would go back in a flash! Thank you Charlotte - we also picked up some great style tips from your (URL HIDDEN) was beautiful!

Ultra clean, bright, spacious and modern appt. Huge communal garden and quite neighbourhood. Professionally presented and all mod cons. Very comfortable bed. Home from home and definitely better than any hotel experience. Central.

The apartment of Charlotte is situated in a lively district of Copenhagen with a supermarket, a bakery (also open on Sundays) and some nice restaurants around the corner. The center of Copenhagen is within walking distance (10 minutes). The house is very clean and spacious. Charlotte is a superhost and has a book full of recommendations. For our teenage daughters she had an inflatable bed in the room. We had a great time in beautiful Copenhagen. Thanks!

Hi everyone!
My name is Charlotte, a design-/travelfreak! I've lived in Copenhagen for most of my life, the last 18 years in Islands Brygge. I have a Masters Degree in History and therefore a great interest in the history of the city and the Danish culture. I can guide you to the best museums and castles!

I speak English, Spanish and a little (very little) French. I also understand Swedish and Norwegian.

In my spare time I love shopping for 1950's furniture classics or check out the latest design scoops in Copenhagens trendy interior stores.
