About This Listing
We have 3 double and one twin room available in family home. Two adults live here now, as children have grown up, so we have many spare rooms. £30 price is for first person, subsequent people are £20 each.

Very convenient for transport from Cardiff city centre, 10 minute bus ride or a lovely walk through two parks. 3 parks nearby, & free WiFi. Easy parking too, and helpful hosts. Breakfast is a help yourself affair - there is an area on the landing with kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave where you can make your own drinks, and heat meals. Bread, tea, coffee, butter, preserves, cereals & milk provided. All 3 double rooms have digital TV's too, twin room does not. One room has a medium size sofa bed that can sleep 2 cosily, and another room has two sofa beds so whole set of rooms can sleep 10 easily, (8 in separate beds (6 double) or 12/14 at a pinch. Everything was as described. Carys was very friendly and helpful. As we were a large group we enjoyed the use of the lounge room Carys even gave us a movie to watch. Selection of breakfast was great, including fresh fruit. Was very easy to get into town via public transport and taxi. All in all a great experience.
Lovely host, house and a great night's sleep too!
Everything really easy, and just about to book again ;-)
lovely house in great location for the city centre.....very welcoming and friendly host, carys made sure that our needs were well catered for.....
The room is huge, the food is very abundant (the Evans will take your dietary requirements into consideration), the shower has a good pressure and the cat is more that willing to keep you company if you need a hug! The neighbourhood is a very quiet one and you'll be close to bus stops where you can take the bus to anywhere in Cardiff and the surrounding towns. There is a desk if you need to work and a TV with a selection of DVDs if you feel like staying at home in the evening.
Home was located in a great neighbourhood, close to a village with shops and a cathedral. Bus routes steps from home. Rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable and warm. For breakfast there was everything one needs for self sufficiency which we really appreciated. Allowed us to get up and be on our way. Such a nice touch to see peanut butter and marmite for various travellers. I appreciated getting a chance to try welsh cakes . We loved having the very friendly Allie (cat) greet us and hang out. Made it more like a home. The papers outlining the area, attractions, restaurants left in each room were invaluable. It helped us decide where to go.
The listing was perfect, as described! Carys was very kind and helpful and made my stay very pleasant. I would recommend this listing to everyone who is visiting Cardiff. It's just a few minutes bus drive from city center.
Excellent host in a fantastic house. Would stay with Carys again at the drop of a hat. May have to find an excuse to go back to Cardiff!
