Small two-bedroom, remodeled, modern town home in a quiet area in Westminster, bordering Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, and very close to Long Beach (40-50 min drive to L.A. depending on traffic).
With parking garage, wi-fi (NO cable at this point but I do have a Chromecast so you can watch netflix or hulu on the tvs on one TV and Apply TV on another TV), parking, washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. I also have a printer if you so need. Five minute drive to the ocean and close to the freeway.
The town home has two bedrooms and a comfortable couch in a living room. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the other has a twin bed. There is also one modern bathroom that has a shower and tub, shampoo and body soap available.
I have remodeled that back patio that leads to the garage you can park in. The patio has a table that seats 6 and has an umbrella.
The neighborhood is quiet and very friendly. It is right across from Boeing headquarters and may appear secluded, but you will soon realize that you are 5-10 minutes by car from the beach (both Huntington and Seal Beach) and estuary, and 5-10 minute drive from all the shops and restaurants of Long Beach. It is very close to two major freeways as well as Pacific Coast Highway.
The surrounding food markets are Ralphs, Trader Joe's, and Gelsons.
Guest will have access to the entire place, including the patio and the garage.
There are also two community pools in walking distance. One is small and the other is larger with a jacuzzi.
Interaction with Guests
If you have any questions before or during your stay, I am also available to answer them!
The neighborhood is quiet, apart from some kids playing outside during the day. The community where the house is has two pools, one with a jacuzzi.
Please keep it clean and tidy before you leave. Be respectful of the neighbors. and most of all, enjoy!
I'm going to keep this short and sweet. Jeff's place was very clean and neat. Jeff answered any questions/concerns I had. My husband and I had a great experience. I would definitely recommend staying at his place if you were in the area.
This is a lovely condo-sized 2-bedroom house in a modern planned development. It felt like we are part of our host Jeff's family and he's let us stay in his place for a few days. Jeff has decorated it beautifully in a simple-but-chic style.
We were about 20-25 minutes from the Anaheim Convention Center and Disneyland, which is close enough to be convenient but still far enough away to escape the craziness. You are close to the coast if you want to visit a beach, and there are several town centers nearby where you can find any flavor of decent but affordable international cuisine. For example, we visited the Mo Ran Gak Korean Barbeque in Garden Grove, just a couple of minutes away, and had a marvelous meal.
The property has a garage with remote control, so you r car is not on the street overnight. And there is a nice little walled patio area with a propane radiant heater - perfect for cooler months.
Jeff is a gracious host - easy to reach and very flexible about check-in and check-out arrangements.
Very highly recommended!
Jeff's home was wonderful and he was more than accommodating. I would recommend booking with him.
This was the second occasion that we stayed at Jeff's place and it was even better than last time. Not only was it again a clean, spacious, fully-equipped place to stay and relax in - that was located within short driving distances of Westminster (and it's In-N-Out Burger!), John Wayne Airport, Santa Ana, Long Beach, Huntington Beach, Brea, Fullerton and Irvine as well as further afield like San Diego and LA Counties - but it stayed cool during the daytime heat and could be easily warmed up during the chilly November nights.
As a bit of a geek, Apple TV has been installed in the living room since our last visit. As well as (website hidden) Chromecast in the bedroom, this was certainly a great addition to place's facilities.
My host was great! Jeff was very personable, gave lots of information about the area (although I grew up in the neighborhood. Just moved 30 years ago). Jeff basically opened up his house to us and we enjoyed our stay a lot.
Thanks Jeff, Leslie Brennan
Great apartment, experience, and host! Definitely would recommend if you need to be in the area. Jeff was super responsive and provided great suggestions for the greater Orange County area.
Side note: there is no AC in the unit, just something to keep in mind for the warmer months. Also, no cable TV but there is Chromecast if you have Netflix, Hulu or just want to watch YouTube.
Jeff was a wonderful host! He had a list of suggestions of activities we could do and was very responsive via text/phone/email if we had any questions. His flat was perfect for what we needed and is decorated so well too! The flat was spacious, beds were so so comfortable and lots of towels provided The neighborhood was very safe and I never felt otherwise. Having access to a garage was a huge plus. The outdoor patio was a plus for hanging out and sunbathing. I would definitely recommend staying at his place!
I am originally from Orange County, California; grew up in Irvine. I have a partner who lives in Los Angeles (actually now, fiance) and I own and manage family businesses. I recently received a PhD in Sociocultural Anthropology and still like to teach when I can. Traveling and eating are my favorite things to do (especially if it's in Europe).
