A stylishly furnished, spacious two bedroom apartment centrally located in District 3. Filled with old antiques but furnished with modern, designer furniture this is a perfect stay in the bustling metropolis of Saigon.
The apartment has a living room with leather sofa, flat screen television with cable television (with international channels), and a DVD player with a movie library. There is a dining room with a large dining/work table and seats 6 people. The master bedroom has a very comfortable king-sized bed that connects directly to the bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and looks out into the main courtyard of the apartment complex so you can escape the chaos and noise of Saigon. There is a large kitchen with everything you need to cook including a stove, large refrigerator, microwave/oven. Enjoy a book on the balcony that overlooks the courtyard.
Some bonus features: there is a security guard and gate outside for added piece of mind. There is air conditioning units throughout the apartment as well as wifi internet and a washer to wash your clothes! Also a house cleaner comes twice a week at no additional costs.
The apartment is located on a major street with easy access to taxis and a bus stop right outside the front gate. There are street food vendors right outside the apartment if you want a taste of what the locals eat. A taxi to the downtown tourist areas (church, post office, opera house) will cost only about $3-$4 and takes 10 minutes. There is also a public stop right outside the apartment building. The airport is only a 15 minute taxi ride away.

Bao was a friendly host that went above and beyond to make me feel welcome during Tet, when most of the city was closed in celebration. He is also busy, so you can experience lots of space in the apartment. It was convenient to have an ex-pat who also speaks Vietnamese as a host!
The apartment is very safe and as pictured: clean with hip decor. The room had good air conditioning, a comfortable bed, and is otherwise pretty basic (which was fine with me).The shower had good pressure and hot water, the wifi was fast, and Bao hooked me up with bottled water. This apartment is in a more residential area, so perfect for someone who doesn't want to stay in an extremely touristy area (but also still very close to District 1).
