Your mountain home awaits! This bright, spacious, non-smoking condo has all the amenities you need. The unit is a 1-bedroom + den with a double bed, and a double futon. There is a walk through closet from the bedroom to the bathroom that contains a washer/dryer. Secure underground parking, a balcony, dishwasher, a gas fireplace, basic cable, and wireless internet, completes the picture. Access to restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, a library, transit, and even a yoga studio, are just footsteps away.
Hiking, biking, trail running, and skiing are close by, and to get into the heart of Vancouver, is an easy transit ride down to the sea bus, which crosses the beautiful Burrard inlet. Your host is also an outdoorsy kinda guy, so if you're a hiker, skier, climber, or yogi, he can point you in the right direction.
This is a great opportunity to experience and explore what Vancouver is known for - pure outdoor living.
The following is my building's by-laws. I have only included the ones which would apply. Most are just common sense. Please take a quick read through.
USE OF PROPERTY
A resident or visitor must not use a strata lot, or the common property, in a way that; causes a nuisance or hazard to another person, causes unreasonable noise, unreasonably interfaces with the rights of the other persons to use and enjoy the common property, common assets or another strata lot; is illegal or injurious to the reputation of the building.
A resident or visitor must not cause damage, other than reasonable wear and tear to the common property, common assets or those parts of the strata lot which the Strata Corporation must repair and maintain under these bylaws or insure under Section 194 of the Act.
The owner is responsible for any damage caused by occupants, tenants, visitors, or pets to the owner's strata lot.
No item shall be brought onto or stored in a strata lot or the common property which will be in any way an increase, or tend to increase, the risk of fire or the rate of fire insurance, or any other insurance policy held by the Strata Corp. or, which will invalidate any insurance policy.
A resident must not permit over-sized, commercial or recreational vehicles including, boats, trailers and campers to enter or be parked or stored on common, limited common property or land that is a common asset without written approval of the Strata Council.
A resident must not store unlicensed or uninsured vehicles on the common, limited common property, or land that is a common asset.
A resident must park only in the parking stall assigned to the resident.
A resident or visitor must not permit a vehicle to be parked or left unattended in a manner that interferes with parking stalls, access lanes, or no-parking zones.
A resident or visitor must not use any parking area as a work area for repairs, or work on vehicles involving auto fluids or paints, motor tune ups or mechanical repairs.
A resident or visitor must not smoke while in the parking area including inside a vehicle.
A resident must not park in the 'visitor' stalls for longer than 2-hr unloading period.
Any resident's vehicles in violation of 39.6 or 39.12 will be subject to removal by a towing company.
Visitors are allowed to park in the visitor parking 3 consecutive days or a total of 8 days in any 4 week period.
Prior to the possession of a strata lot by a tenant, an owner must deliver to the tenant the current bylaws and rules of the Strata Corp.
A resident must not make undue noise at any time in or about any strata lot or common property. A resident must respect the quiet hours of 10pm to 8pm daily.
A resident must not allow persons not known to them to enter the building. Visitors to the building must gain access through the use of the intercom system. A resident or visitor must ensure all entrance doors are closed firmly behind them, including the garage door.
Residents are responsible for the conduct of visitors including ensuring that noise is kept at a level, in the sole determination of the majority of the Council that will not disturb the rights of quiet enjoyment of others.

A resident or visitor must not smoke in the interior common property, elevators, lobbies, foyer, stairwells, corridors or garage, or leave cigarette subs on limited common property or land that is a common asset.
A resident must ensure that all entrance doors to strata lots are kept closed and kitchen extract fans are used when cooking.
A resident or visitor must not shake rugs, mops, or dusters of any kind from any balcony.
A resident must not display or erect fixtures, clotheslines, or similar structures permanently or temporarily on balcony's, and common property or land that is a common asset.
A resident or visitor must not throw or drop any material substances, esp. burning substances, from any balcony, patio, window, or other part of a strata lot or common property.
Provide all the beddings, washroom and kitchenette utilities ! Super considerate and approachable!
We fully enjoyed our stay at Jason’s, we reached late at around 10pm local time and even then Jason received us personally and helped us with our luggage, a very good gesture. Our stay was much better than our expectations.
It is a 1 bedroom apartment (approx. 600 sq ft I guess), with ample windows for light, with a small loft/den place as an extra place for 1 or 2 persons with a futon bed that was provided; the bedroom is fully private and has a nice comfortable double bed; attached is a nice size closet with washer dryer, and ample shelves, attached to the closet is a bathroom with bathtub. It also has a nice balcony and a big, beautiful Douglas fir is in direct view along with some mountains. Kitchen was fully functional with stove/oven, microwave, press coffeemaker, tea kettle, toaster and full size refrigerator, dishwasher and all pots and pans and even many spices/sauces. A dining table with 4 chairs was also provided. The living room has a fireplace, basic couch, coffee table, a book armoire, and a small LCD TV with many cable channels. WiFi worked really great. There is also coat closet at the entrance. You get your own private secured covered parking spot. Laundry soap, dish-washing/dishwasher soap, and shampoo/bath soap everything was provided. There were travel books and travel literature also available in the apartment.
It is located in a very nice area of North Vancouver, Lynn Valley, which was very lush green in early June.
The Lynn canyon park is right there with free parking, beautiful hiking, waterfalls, fresh/cold/snowmelt swimming pond and a nice suspension bridge.
Via Lynn Valley road or mountain highway by car highway 1 going west and south is easily accessible respectively. If you don’t have a car you can use bus 228, 229 to go to Lonsdale quay to take the seabus to the waterfront/Canada place station/downtown, from there you can go by train/bus to many other places. From airport take skytrain to waterfront, take seabus to Lonsdale quay and then bus 228, 229 to get to bus stop right by the apartment. By car the apt. is around 28km from airport. One can buy transit pass at the airport that we did not need to, since we rented a car, we did buy transit pass for one full day from Safeway nearby; around $8 US dollars per person for the whole day which includes all transit except the aquabus/false creek ferries. Public transportation is really great in Vancouver.
Lynn valley center is walking distance, it has two grocery stores Safeway and Sav on Foods; pizza place (fresh slice), farmers market, telecom shops and many other shops/restaurants facing it is a 24hr McDonalds on Lynn Valley Road and 29th street. Found that Sav On is a bit cheaper than Safeway but you need card for that, which Jason had provided. Small/minor point: provide an xtra fan for summer since opening window may get road noise and slight pollution.
Jason was very quick and kind in his responses , also let me view his condo quickly before my in laws came . This cemented my desire to put them in his place .
Our staying at Jason's condo was perfect.

We had a wonderful time at Jason's condo. Very conviently located with grocery stores and everything you need in walking distance. The condo itself is just perfect for the three of us with so much room and Jason really went out of his way to make sure we have everything we needed. It is really the best stay we again have ever had.
Jason was very accommodating with our late arrival. Condo was well kept and very well located to downtown and many excellent hiking trails. Building was quiet and seemed to be well managed. Enjoyed the fireplace. Easy walking (2 minutes) to a mall/plaza with grocery stores, several coffee shops, liquor and drug stores plus others. All you would need. Would definitely stay again if the unit is available. Thank you Jason.
This was my second time at Jason's beautiful apartment in Lynn Valley and I stayed for almost 5 months. After my first stay here in 2012 I had no hesitation in booking the condo for my longer visit this year. Jason has always been super-helpful with everything!
The place is perfect, very clean and tastefully appointed. The location in the idyllic Lynn Valley is very peaceful, surrounded by nature, and yet close to transport, shopping and restaurants.
