The Space

Charming apt. in the heart of LA! 5 min away from Beverly Hills and everything awesome in Hollywood. (PLEASE NOTE***If the dates you need are booked, BE SURE TO CLICK ON MY OTHER LOCATION THAT IS BRAND NEW!!! "RELAXING OASIS IN HEART OF LA")

I absolutely love this area and know you will too because of the ease of public transportation, the myriad of restaurants and stores, and the various things to do in every direction.

Some of the wonderful things your oasis is equipped with:
- air conditioning, hardwood floors, carpet, new appliances
- washer/dryer facility in basement of building
- large bathrooms with porcelain tubs and showers
- 2 Queen Beds
- High speed wi -fi, APPLE TV, xBOX, landline for local calls
- NEW pool in complex

Walking distance to The Grove Shopping District, LACMA (Los Angeles Museum of Art), Whole Foods Market, Trader Joe's, Pharmacies ... and tons of amazing dining spots, dive bars, dance clubs ... You name it - this is the BEST place to be.

I am a filmmaker/screenwriter, traveling often and would love for my LA apt. to get more use, especially for someone special!

Once you book, you will be able to access my house manual listing my favorite places and things to do in the area along with instructions on how to work and access everything in detail, including parking. (FREE parking is available within the complex.)

Can't wait to share with you all the fun things you can do, places to visit and yummy spots to eat at!

I hope to have you!

I used to have cats, but they no longer live here. They were taken to a new home over a year ago.

  • Lovely apartment, exactly as described and very home-y. In a great location; bus stop (surprisingly easy to get around in LA without a car), supermarkets and fantastic restaurants within walking distance. Anna was incredibly helpful and (email hidden) to the local area. The laundry facilities were also great. Should we ever come back to LA, would happily stay here again.

  • After spending 5 days in the Anna's oasis, I can say that the place is really nice, comfortable, quiet and very well located. In addition, Anna makes everything to make you happy, and always with the smile, so in one word if you are looking for a nice place to spend some days in the heart of LA, do not hesitate.

  • Anna's place is in a SUPERB location. Walking distance from the Grove and Farmer's Market. We had four people, all beds were great, the master bedroom was super comfy!

There are old-school A/C wall units which do the trick, but the weather is so mild we had the windows open for most of our stay. Unless you plan to do a ton of driving, I would not recommend bringing a car. There is no dedicated parking for this condo, so it's like the Thunderdome out there! We arrived at about 1:30am on a Thursday night having flown in from NYC. We were exhausted and had to drive around for about 30 minutes before finding parking. Also, parking passes are only good from 12pm to 12pm the next day. If you don't get a new parking pass when it expires, you will be towed so expect to move your car everyday. That said, every single person that we encountered in this joint was incredibly friendly and helpful!

If you are technologically savvy I would recommend getting around with the LIFT or UBER app on your phone. Rates (compared to NYC) are DIRT cheap. It only cost me $15 to get from the wedding in Bel Air to Anna's apartment. It cost me twice that to get to Brooklyn from Manhattan!

Important to note that this is a huge gated community with town homes and clusters of condo towers. Anna's apartment is in one of those towers. It's like a maze, so get specific instructions from Anna about where to enter before you arrive because finding it is not easy.

There is an amazing little coffee kiosks with delicious fresh pastries (some of the best croissants I've ever had) just downstairs from the apartment which is impt to note b/c she does NOT provide a coffee maker.

In the end, we didn't spend much time there because we were there for a wedding and had several different related events to attend; for our purposes this place was really perfect. However for a longer stay, I think the parking situation is a real bummer b/c you need a car to get around LA long-term.

However, if you're there for a quick trip or if you don't plan to drive, Anna's place is a good match for you and you can't beat the price for the location! The only thing stopping me from giving her 5 stars is the parking.

    Response from Anna Elizabeth:

Thank you Julia for the great review! Yes, parking in LA is costly everywhere you go. The good news is, parking is FREE vs the high prices at hotels. For anyone who is reading this, parking only becomes tricky late at night. During the day their is plenty of parking right in front of the tower. But no matter what you can find a spot somewhere WITHIN the community which is super safe. (Street parking is also available.) You may have to walk a little ... I am working on getting a permanent reserved spot for my guests as well.

  • I rented out this place for my parents and two sisters for my graduation from UCLA, and it worked out splendidly. Anna Elizabeth was totally on top of it, and extremely gracious - even bringing by extra towels. The apartment is charming, clean, and has plenty of space. If there is a "con," it is parking - the apartment complex is huge, and it ended up becoming complicated at times for us to find a spot nearby or get our permits renewed. That being said, it's in a fantastic area with tons to do and many attractions nearby. It was so wonderful having a cozy and comfortable little place for my family to settle into during this special weekend!

    Response from Anna Elizabeth:

Oh no! Peyton, I had no idea you got towed. I'm so sorry to hear this. :( Please let me know how much the fee was and I will see what I can do to help you out with it. I do put in my house manual that you will get towed if you park in someone else's reserved spot but maybe you didn't read this? Again, so so sorry! I will make sure to remind my future guests not to park in reserved parking. Thank you again for staying and I hope the rest of your trip went well!

  • We checked in at very late of night! Parking was a big problem! In the dark, the apartment looks a bit old, a bit diff to what I seen on the net! Other than these, it very a pleasant stay ! Location was perfect, close to everything!

  • We had a very good experience staying here and would like to stay here again during future trips to LA. We love the neighborhood (right across from the Grove) and it was great having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and living area. The laundry is fantastic -- plenty of machines and easy to access. Anna was accessible for all of our questions. The apartment gets a lot of natural sunlight, which we loved, but also resulted in our kids waking up earlier than usual. The only issue we faced was finding a parking spot could take up to 10 mins…but we always did find a spot.

  • The place was really great: just like the pictures and perfectly located. Anna has been very nice and responsive.

  • Very nice place to stay in LA. It's beautiful and comfortable. And it has two bathrooms, which is really helpful for our party with four people.

  • Anna was very friendly and always responded when I had a question (which wasn't often). The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We also really enjoyed the neighborhood the apartment was in. It has lots of trees, little traffic, and a coffee shop right outside the building. The location was perfect for a visit to LA; very central to everything. The only drawbacks were that the air was not central and the two units (one in master bedroom and one in dining/living room) took a while to cool off the place. Also, the master bed mattress was very soft and leaned towards the middle, but quite frankly, I still slept very well. Finding a parking spot after 7pm can take up to 20 minutes and require a 10 min. walk, but not that big of a deal. Would definitely stay here again!
