She kept in contact with us until we arrived even though we missed our first night there. She invited us in with a warm and gracious aura... offering us choices of beverages to drink. Seeing that she was a native New Yorker, she was very knowlegable about New York transportation and sat with us and described the various options we had for commuting around New York. She was prepared with maps as well as suggestions for good local restaurants.
She gave us a tour of the apartment and explained how to operate the various appliances. The listing was very accurate with the exception of the bathroom which she had recently upgraded to a more state of the art bathroom. The neighborhood was around the corner from Central Park and we felt very safe.
Très bonne expérience, l'appartement est sympa, Roxanne est à l'écoute et discrète. Merci!
Roxanne was super accommodating and friendly. I'm not the most detail-oriented person and totally failed to read when we needed to check out. She was friendly and reminded me and then let me off the hook because she didn't have someone coming in to rent my room immediately following. It was a great trip. It was a bit awkward for my wife and I sharing a bathroom with another renter but we managed just fine. She also had metro passes ready for us along with a map of the city including the metro train routes.
Roxanne welcomed my boyfriend and I straightaway, and gave us great recommendations for visiting the area. The room is exactly as described, and very clean and cozy. The neighborhood is close to Central Park and several subway stops, which makes getting places very simple. I would definitely recommend staying here.
I really liked the location and Roxanne has been a great host, helpful and very friendly. The apt is very nice, clean and only 5 min walk to the green and red lines! Recommended

My style of hosting is to meet and greet you warmly. Pretty please do not request a booking more than two months ahead (as I may not be available and do not wish to cancel anyone's trip unexpectedly.) Also please reply with a profile photo, a bit about yourself and why you are visiting New York.
