Hello!! We rent two bedrooms in our flat, 10 minutes from "Plaza Cataluña", next to "calle Princesa", 2 minutes from the metro Jaume I. The floor is old but it has its charm. We are a girl from Spain and a roommate from Italy. Smoking is allowed.
The bigger bedroom has double bed or it's possible 3 single beds and outdoor balcony. The another is smaller and hasn't window (less noise fro the street!, and it can use when there is 4 or 5 people. The breakstast is included: milk, tea, infusions, cereals, cookies, bread, butter, fruit and juice.
In addition, in the lounge, we have a balcony from you can enjoy the whole street because it's perpendicular. The floor is big, there is a living room. You can use the kitchen and there is a bathroom with shower. We are smoking in the flat.
It is located in a pedestrian street of "el Borne", one of the most emblematic neighbourhoods in Barcelona's old town, a walk that is mandatory for all the tourists in the city. Many activities in the Terminal, can be done: you can buy or eat, to go to museums or simply strolling through the city and discover the most traditional part. The floor is very central, it's located at 15 minutes walking from the beach of "la Barceloneta", 10 minutes from Plaça Catalunya, the famous Ramblas, the Parc of the Ciutadella, the Arc de Triomphe...
Strolling through its narrow streets, without fixed direction, finding different squares and charming places is a great pleasure. The Terminal, formerly known as La Ribera, is a neighborhood of much history in Barcelona, since it was created in the 10th century, Arab settlements, and then welcomed merchants, sailors, and nobles. One of the more popular and yet more special and Mystic of El Borne is the Church of Santa Maria del Mar, also known as the Cathedral of the sea. In addition, we have very close one of the most important Museum of Barcelona: the Picasso Museum.
If you want to take some "tapas" in the Borne, you will find a lot of places as you walk, especially in the surroundings of the "Paseo del Borne". In the walk of the terminal you will also find variety of bars, so it's a very good place to start the night.
Have a nice journey!
The room is located in a very central location, very close to Juame I metro station and is walking distance to the Arc de Triomf, as well as the main tourist area Catalunya. It was a very cute and cozy place and the 3 of us traveling together felt comfortable and safe. Luisa was very welcoming, gave a key and was very flexible with our leaving time on our last day. We were not in the apartment very much and opted for buying food outside for breakfast. She always had a lot of big bottles of water for us, and really let us come in and out of the apartment at our leisure despite that her and her mom lived there as well. It was a great location for a short 3 day stay!
Luisa was very friendly and welcoming. Our flight arrived late in Barcelona and we only made it to the flat around midnight. She was expecting us as communicate previously without any problems. The flat was at a great location and in a safe area. It was easily accessible. Luisa also gave us good tips regarding local tapas bars which we tried! We really liked the decor which made us feel like we live in a house rather than a cold hotel room.
We had a great stay in Luisa"s appartment. You couldn't get a better location, very close to major tourist attractions and a short walk to the beach. Luisa was very nice and accommodating. She helped us with recommendations for our travel plans throughout Spain. We highly recommend to anyone!
It was first very difficult to find the house as there are so many lanes and somehow no one knew the street which we were looking for.
Eventually we found the place.
It was unfortunate we could not meet Luisa as she was in hospital but on the 1st day we met her mom who gave us the keys and showed us the place.
Her mom was very kind and very nice.the next days we met Luisa's dad and he was very kind and very nice with us.
I spoke very little spanish but wr managed to communicate.
Even though her dad Juan was tensed about Luisa he still always put a smile and greeted us very well.
The place is very central and a short walk of about 10mns to Las Ramblas.
We requested to extend our stay for 1 more day and Luisa managed to accommodate us.
All in all we felt very welcomed.
Thankyou so much Luisa and your parents too who were extremely very kind and sweet.
Hope you get well soon and next time if i plan a trip . Hopefully we meet then ;) :)
God bless :)
Un très bon accueil chez Luisa. L'annonce était conforme à nos attentes. L'appartement était propre, les serviettes et les draps étaient fournis et le petit déjeuner nous était offert.
C'était une superbe expérience à renouveler sans hésiter.
Merci encore !
