  • My best friend and I stayed at Jennifer's place for a reunion weekend of sorts. We were supposed to have a third friend with us but she had a death in her family outside of the country. The condo could comfortably sleep three adults or even two adults, two children. It is so charming, very well maintained, and very inviting. I felt more like I was housesitting for a friend: welcome and make yourself comfortable but make sure you leave it in the same or even better condition you found it in. My friend and I didn't spend too much time there because we had a full itinerary for the stay. But I hope to stay there again on a future and spend more time in the condo itself. I slept in the back bedroom and it was the best sleep I've had in a long while and my friend was also very comfortable in the front bedroom.

Location wise, it is amazing. When I lived in the city, I lived not too far away from there so it was my old stomping ground. But definitely be sure to spend some time walking around the neighborhood, particularly Division Street, which is about 10 minutes away by foot depending on how fast you walk. Lots of independently owned shops, taverns, and restaurants. If you love dogs, you will have a blast getting to meet the local pets. Even better if you're traveling with a dog, many of the restaurants and taverns, especially on Division Street, have outdoor patios in the spring and summer that are pooch-friendly. Unless you're going to the suburbs, don't rent a car. There's plenty of other transportation options available.

Jennifer is a great host and has made her condo a wonderful place to stay. She responds to emails within a very reasonable amount of time. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

  • My teen daughters and I enjoyed our stay at Jennifer's lovely condo. We bought perogis & treats at the Ukrainian Deli/Bakery to prepare for dinner. Getting downtown was EASY on the bus. We did notice fragrance in the condo from previous room freshners and candles. If you are allergic to fragrance, this may be a problem (I took and extra anti-histamine). I would be glad to stay there again!

  • My wife and I stayed at Jennifer's place for 6 weeks. On arrival we were able to get in without any problems. The instructions were precise and easy to follow. The Condo was clean, there were some candles lit and heat was turned on. All in all very welcoming.
The place was well stocked with essentials like toilet paper detergents etc (there is a washer dryer so super convenient). The wifi was on and working and very fast so we were immediately able to get to work and contact family and friends.
The beds and linen were plentiful and clean and comfortable. All manner of glassware china silver and bake ware was on hand. This combined w a host of convenient grocery and convenience stores meant we only had to eat out when we felt like it.
The location is amazing just a short walk to all the action (shopping bars and restaurants) on Milwaukee and Division. Also a short cab ride into downtown. In fact being a runner the first morning I found myself on Michigan avenue. The area is clean safe and good for late evening strolls.
There is sound rigged throughout the place so bring your ipods or other things along.
The decor is amazing and definitely better than a hotel.
Jennifer checked in on us in the middle of our stay, which was very kind of her.
All in all I cant bring myself to fault this place. Convenience value and privacy.
    Great great great.
    Thank you Jennifer.

  • My sister, her husband and I stayed in Jennifer's apartment for two days while visiting Chicago for the weekend. We totally dropped the ball on letting Jennifer know what time we were going to be arriving, but she was really understanding and sweet about it. She provided us with really helpful information on how to get around, and some places to eat and grab a drink. It was a pleasure to be able to meet her and gather her insight into the city. The apartment was just absolutely amazing. Ample space, perfectly clean, the bedrooms and beds are comfortable, the kitchen is in working order, stocked with all the tools you'll need, and the downstairs TV room is really great. We took my sister's dog and found that it was really convenient to be able to travel and have him with us! The apartment is also just a 10-15 minute Lyft (car-sharing service) ride from the major attractions. It was a wonderful experience staying here; Jennifer was great, the apartment was great, we absolutely plan to stay here again on our next trip to Chicago!

  • This place is perfect. I stayed one night with my husband, 1 year old son, our pets, and a friend who was visiting from the east coast. The space is super-charming and homey. Jennifer is a wonderful host and the neighborhood is fantastic. Friendly!

  • A friend and I used Jennifer's place for a landing pad while we took in some college basketball games. Everything was exactly as it was portrayed on the listing. Very comfortable and spacious living arrangements. We were within walking distance to may food and drink options. I would rate the experience 5 out of 5!

  • I stayed at Jennifer's place while in Chicago attending a sporting event. The condo was exactly as she described in the listing. It is on a nice quiet block and within walking distance to many food and drink options. The check in and check out process was easy. I would stay again without hesitation and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo to others.

  • We had a great time in Chicago and the apartment was perfect for what we wanted. I traveled with my boyfriend and a friend. The location was excellent and had many places near it to go out to eat and have a drink (I celebrated my birthday while I was there and had one of the best Argentinian dinner at Folklore). Downtown is just a short ride away on a bus and the blue line. We definitely enjoyed the music collection (vinyl records) in the apartment and took advantage of the spacious kitchen. The rooms were comfortable. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We did not get to enjoy the patio since it was cold, but in the summer I'm sure it is a treat to sit outside and bbq. Jennifer was available to attend our needs during the trip. I would definitely stay again in this apartment when I go back to Chicago.

  • Jennifer's apartment is not only beautiful and spacious - it's also very cozy, filled with awesome details and objects, very tastefully furnished. Wifi, coffee maker, ice maker, large counter space, comfortable beds, two bathrooms - one couldn't ask for anything better! The location is also great - the Chicago bus takes you downtown (to Navy Pier) in about 15-20 min and the Damen bus takes you to north to Wicker Park or South to Pilsen - the coolest neighborhoods in town. There's a supermarket and a great Polish deli just two or three blocks away. Communication with Jennifer is very quick and smooth - even though I haven't met her in person I feel as if I knew her - she seems very friendly and fun and someone with a great taste! I will certainly recommend her place to all my friends visiting Chicago!

Medical Device Sales
I'm from Chicago, IL and I work in medical device sales. I love music, film, animals and travel. I'm pretty laid back and enjoy just hanging out with some wine and good friends. I JUST (yesterday) accepted a job offer in San Francisco (city I love) which is why I'm looking for temporary housing until I can find an apartment to rent. I think that's it! :) I suppose I should now add that I loved using Airbnb so much, that I have put my beloved home in Chicago up for rent on this sight. So far I have had the pleasure to meet some really nice, cool & interesting people who enjoy staying at my old home as much as I did!! Safe travels everyone. :)
