This stylish apartment is extremely well located in the heart of the city center, on Via della Reginella, at walking distance from Campo de Fiori with its typical bars and restaurants where you can have a break after visiting all the attractions you will find nearby, such as the Pantheon building. Trastevere area can also be joined by walk easily. Could you imagine a better location to visit Rome?
On the 3rd floor of an eighteenth century building that unfortunately does not have an elevator, this modern and at the same time typical Rome apartment has an amazing living area.
It offers an open, elegant and fully equipped kitchen as well as a comfortable sitting area with a large sofa (that turns into a sofa bed in case of need), glass table with chairs, 32″ Flat Tv, paintings, and library. In particular, the kitchen is equipped with gas stove, oven, fridge, freezer, and washing machine.
The living area leads to the lovely balcony with plants through a large French window. High wooden ceilings and parquet floor are elegant details.
A long corridor with wardrobe leads you to the two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The first bedroom has a king size bed in its center, night tables, design abat-jour. Next to it is the main bathroom with shower. At the end of the corridor is the second bedroom with twin beds, night tables and abate-jour. a second, small bathroom has also a shower.
Internet access (wireless), air conditioning and central heating are nice and comfortable features.
This is an apartment that will offer you a comfortable and pleasant stay in one of the most quiet areas of the city!
The apartment is also very suitable for families.
We had a great stay in Rome. The apartment is just as depicted, and very comfortable and spacious for 5. The area is quiet, but very central and we were able to walk pretty much everywhere.
I had a wonderful time in Rome with three of my aunts coming from Spain. The best about this apartment is its location. In the historical center of Rome at just a few minutes walk from some of the major attractions of this beautiful city.
The apartment is very well presented and clean. It has large rooms with air conditioning throughout. This is very important if you come to Rome in summer, as the apartment becomes a cool oasis in the hot afternoon. The kitchen is very well equipped and the main bathroom is fantastic. The only thing that it can be improved is the second bathroom. Water from the shower tray can come out very easily. This should not be difficult for the owners to sort out. I would recommend it to any group of three to five people. It was really fantastic!
The overall impression after staying in this apartment is deception. The pictures look really nice on the website, but in fact, the living room is probably two times smaller than advertised.
The apartment is listed as accommodation for 6 people, when in fact it's suited for a couple with kids, or two couples at most. Not only was the living room much much smaller than the pictures (and you got the feeling you were sleeping in the kitchen), but the extendable couch was actually a one person bed. So, imagine our surprise the first night, when we wanted to make the bed, and realized that it only accommodated one person - this was most unpleasant, since there was no mentioning of this in their listing. They had added one extra bed in the twin bedroom, but since we were three couples we did not like the idea one bit.
There was also another really big problem: the Internet did not work properly. Meaning we could hardly check our emails, it took forever for things to load. The signal was incredibly weak, and we only got 2 lines out of five on our iPads and iPhones. We even tried connecting on a laptop, and had no luck...the router was placed outside the apartment, in a separate room, and that was probably the reason for it working so bad.
Another inconvenience was the showers: the hot water came out every now and then, so it was really hard to have a proper shower, when cold water came on when you least expected it.
I think that about sums it up. There were also good things, the apartment looks pretty much like the pictures (apart from the living room), the location is really really good, quite close to the city center (walking distance to all the major attractions). The apartment is located in the Jewish neighborhood, and there are lots of great places to eat on the tiny streets. So that is a plus.
All in all we had a good time in Rome despite the fact that we were deceived by the false advertising of this listing. People should really try to be honest about the places they are renting.
Anyway, this apartment is part of a business, and (email hidden)d in residence. We should have been warned about what we were in for since the very first moment we met the person delivering the keys, who made us wait for 10 minutes in front of the building, while he was looking at us, talking on the phone.
So, if you're a couple traveling with kids, or two couples, go for it, if not, stay away from this apartment.
