Fully optimized for a comfortable 31+ day summer stay, this idyllic, family- and pet-friendly retreat offers a serene, wooded haven located just 3/4 of a mile from the beach. Nestled in the tranquil Lodge Hill neighborhood, this delightful home accommodates up to eight guests and is perfect for two couples, remote workers, or a larger family looking for an extended coastal getaway.

Bonus: Stays of 31+ days are exempt from the local transient occupancy tax, saving you an additional cost automatically!

Living & Working by the Coast
The property is perfectly set up for your extended coastal adventures. Whether you are a digital nomad looking for a scenic workspace or a family looking to create lifelong summer memories, this home adapts to your needs. The entire house has been recently renovated with new hardwood floors, carpets, and comfortable, modern furnishings that will make you feel right at home.

For those planning to work remotely during their month-long stay, the upstairs bedroom features a dedicated desk and workspace. Please note: because the desk is located inside this bedroom, it serves as a private office space if the room isn't fully occupied by guests sleeping in the bunk beds. Combined with our high-speed Wi-Fi, it’s the perfect setup for a summer "workcation."

Finding a month-long summer rental that welcomes the entire family is rare. Our peaceful, fully secure yard allows your pup to stretch their legs safely after a day at the shore, providing total peace of mind. Even better, Cambria’s local beaches and businesses are incredibly pet-friendly!

For families traveling with children, we have eliminated the packing stress for your month-long stay. The home is equipped with a Pack-n-Play (travel crib), a high chair, and a baby gate, and is childproofed with magnetic cabinet locks. Older children can enjoy playing games and watching movies in the upstairs loft space, while younger ones can entertain themselves downstairs with the toys and books available in the living room.

The Layout & Amenities
As soon as you step inside, you'll be greeted by a tastefully furnished and well-stocked eat-in kitchen—perfect for preparing daily meals over a month-long stay. The adjoining large living room is an inviting space, complete with a cozy gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and a beautiful ocean view that can be enjoyed right from the comfort of your plush sofa.

Main Floor: Features the master bedroom with a king-size bed, blackout shades for restful summer mornings, built-in cabinets, and an attached bathroom with double sinks and a shower. A convenient half-bath is located just outside the bedroom.

Upstairs Loft: Offers a cozy queen-size futon, built-in cabinets, and a Roku TV for movie nights.

Upstairs Second Bedroom: Features a full-size bunk bed, built-in cabinets, the dedicated workspace desk, and an attached second full bathroom with a bathtub.

Outdoor Living & Location

Guest access
The entire house is available for use. Two off street parking spaces are available as well as free on street parking.

The detached apartment on the property is also available for rent and may be occupied. The driveway and patio area are the only shared spaces.

Other things to note
Minimum rental of 31 nights. You do not need to occupy the property for the full time. When you make your stay more than 30 days there is no longer a county vacation home tax.

We do not have air conditioning as it is never warm enough to need it at the beach. Open the windows and enjoy the fresh ocean air.

Please bring your own beach supplies. We have provided towels and bedding for the house. Please do not take towels from the house to the beach.

AT&T does not have reliable reception in Cambria. We have WiFi that supports WiFi calling at the house.

Lodge Hill neighborhood is located in between two nature preserves. One of which has miles of well maintained walking trails with breathtaking ocean views. Wild turkeys and deer frequently stroll through the streets. The neighboring also has three public beach access points.

My husband and I have been traveling together since we met, 20 years ago. We love being active and being outdoors, our favorite thing to do is find a new hiking spot wherever we go, or walk the city we are staying in. We truly enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. We love our quiet beach house and enjoy sharing it with others when we can’t use it ourselves.
