The space
Escape to this idyllic and family-friendly retreat that offers a serene and wooded haven, located only 3/4 of a mile from the beach. Nestled in the tranquil Lodge Hill neighborhood, this delightful home accommodates up to eight people and is perfect for two couples or one larger family with its spacious loft and two bedrooms.

The property is perfectly set up for your coastal adventures. Whether you are escaping the valley heat, a digital nomad looking for a new adventure, or a family looking to create lifelong memories at the coast, this home is perfect for you. It is located in the very quiet and scenic Lodge Hill neighborhood, a short walk from breathtaking ocean views and neighborhood beach access. There are so many things to do nearby: antiquing in charming downtown Cambria, walking the Moonstone beach boardwalk, going wine tasting at local wineries, visiting Hearst Castle, and viewing the elephant seals.

As soon as you step inside, you'll be greeted by a tastefully furnished and well-stocked eat-in kitchen, perfect for preparing delicious meals for your loved ones. The adjoining large living room is an inviting space, complete with a gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and an ocean view that can be enjoyed from the comfort of your plush sofa. The entire house has been recently renovated with new hardwood floors and carpets and offers comfortable, modern furnishings that will make you feel right at home.

The first-floor master bedroom features a king-size bed, blackout shades, built-in cabinets, and an attached bathroom with double sinks and a shower. A half bath is also conveniently located right outside the bedroom. Upstairs, the loft offers a cozy queen-size futon, more built-in cabinets, and a Roku TV. The second bedroom features a full-size bunk bed and built-in cabinets, along with an attached second full bathroom with a bathtub.

This home is perfectly suited for families with young children, as it's equipped with a pack-n-play (travel crib), a high chair, and a baby gate. The house is childproofed with magnetic cabinet locks installed for added peace of mind. Older children can enjoy playing games and watching movies in the loft space, while younger ones can entertain themselves downstairs with the toys and books available in the living room.

Outside, the wrap-around deck provides an ocean view and is the perfect spot for relaxing in the sunshine or watching the sunset. Relax and unwind in this peaceful and inviting home that has everything you need to create unforgettable family memories.

Guest access
The entire house is available for use. Two off street parking spaces are available as well as free on street parking.

The detached apartment on the property is also available for rent and may be occupied. The driveway and patio area are the only shared spaces.

Other things to note
Minimum rental of 30 nights. You do not need to occupy the property for the full time. Increase your rental to at least 31 nights and the short term rental taxes are removed.

We do not have air conditioning as it is never warm enough to need it at the beach. Open the windows and enjoy the fresh ocean air.

Please bring your own beach supplies. We have provided towels and bedding for the house. Please do not take towels from the house to the beach.

AT&T does not have reliable reception in Cambria. We have WiFi that supports WiFi calling at the house.

Lodge Hill neighborhood is located in between two nature preserves. One of which has miles of well maintained walking trails with breathtaking ocean views. Wild turkeys and deer frequently stroll through the streets. The neighboring also has three public beach access points.
