My mom and I loved staying here! Great location and easy to get around downtown from there. The apartment is charming, clean, has a great view of the Capitol and it's quiet. Raquel checked in to make sure we were settled, which was really sweet. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Austin.
Raquel and Jacob were the perfect hosts. The apartment was exactly as described - clean, authentic and in an absolutely perfect location! They were very attentive and even came by to fix a cabinet that had fallen from a previous guests stay. We would definitely stay here again!
This was a really awesome loft, with a great view and very centrally located downtown. Super clean and well appointed. There's good communication with the hosts, and flexibility. Reasonable, friendly people. The loft itself is perfect. The area is reasonably safe I think, but it IS downtown (which is the best part!), so just be aware of your surroundings when you go to and from your car and when walking home late at night.
Raquel and Jacob were wonderful hosts … responsive, professional and welcoming before, during and after our visit. The loft is excellent and as advertised with a wonderful view of the Capitol, lots of space and finely detailed. The house manual was well done and a great reference. The neighborhood was very much to our liking though we were surprised that the Starbucks on the corner was closed all weekend since the area caters more to business than residential customers. Not a big issue. Lots of food options available. Our only complaint was the checkout demands. We were instructed to: wash dishes, clean counter, take trash out, put linens and towels in closet, hang wet towels in closet. We've stayed in other Airbnb's without such demands and felt more like guests. We did not cook but still felt it was unnecessary to ask for a guest to take out the trash etc. especially when you're rushing around getting packed and off to the airport. If these things are not an issue, and they are minor compared to the lovely accommodation and hosts, we would recommend this listing. I will add that we had a car. Austin parking is not easy but the parking options were just fine for this listing. Thanks Raquel and Jacob.
Jacob's place was perfect for my stay during SXSW, close to all events and the CC, it was very clean and had everything we needed. Also he has this list/manual of the apartment that makes everything easier, all instructions and rules. I will definitely consider staying there again. :)
