This is 106 m2 sunny apartment that was renovated in 2012 with much love by the artists tenants. The character of the flat is raw walls and wooden whitewashed floors and a lot of light plus unusually high ceilings 3,60 m. It has a great layout.

GROCERIES AND OTHER EVERYDAY SHOPPING
There are food stores all around.
Closest, across the street on Petersburger strasse is a organic food store open until 7 and on the corner across the apartment is a Vietnamese late-night shop. On next parallel street Strassmannstrasse there is a good bakery and icecream shop.
Closest supermarkets are Kaisers on Landsberger Allé by the tram station and new bio supermarket a short walk down Petersburger strasse along the park at the corner of Muhsamstrasse. Behind the bio supermarket is also a branch of the supermarket chain Reichardt.
If you want even more variety Rewe supermarket is on Eldenauerstrasse down Ebertystrasse. Behind Rewe is an island of building and bicycle shops and Kaufland, Rossmann, etc.
For quick bite or good coffee around the corner we recommend the Italians on the corner by the M10 tram stop, Strassmann strasse. They have excellent and cheap pizzas and also another more fancy pasta place. A bit further down the Strassmannstrasse is Frau Honig recommended for the daily expresso or chiabatta with goat cheese.
THE LAYOUT OF THE APARTMENT
The apartment is beautiful and full of light.
In the front it has three large connected spaces by large double doors. The middle space we use as a meeting point/living area that opens to other parts of the flat on all sides. In front it opens to the long balcony, to the one side to the master bedroom (that also has a double door to the balcony), the second site opens to the kitchen and we often keep the double door open for a living room-kitchen (Wohnzimmer) feel and at the back the space opens up to the rest of the flat.
The kitchen is divided in two. A workspace with small eating area and a storage space.
One enters the apartment into a small corridor/reception room that has four doors. To the right is the partly glas door to the living area, straight ahead is door to the other large bedroom. Two doors face the back of the house. One is to the bathroom while the the other is to the small bedroom. It is very quiet in the rear end bedrooms.
Wifi internet is included.
Duvets, pillows and fresh towels and linen are provided. Made up beds.
In the fully equipped kitchen there is new Miele washing machine, new gas stove with electric oven, and a new Siemens dishwashing machine. Plus a fridge with freezer.

WE ARE VERY CENTRAL!
The street is Ebelingstrasse. The neighborhood the North side of Karl Marx Alle. It is residential with local restaurants, cafés and services so you feel like home while you can easily get to more crowded Village part of Friedrichshain by walking few min or taking the tram 2 stops. The Village, the south part, has a great weekend food and crafts market and loads of restaurants, clubs, bars, cafés and interesting boutiques. Karl Marx Allé itself has one of the most interesting architecture in Berlin. Volkspark Friederichshain, the large park, is few minutes walking distance at the corner of Petersburger and Landsberger Allé. It is a great place to get a taste of Berlin Parklife.
FANTASTIC TRANSPORT TO OTHER HOODS and MITTE
We are situated 1 min walking distance to M10 tram stop Strassmannstrasse. This tram connects to both U5 (Alexanderplatz) and U1 (Kreuzberg, K-damm etc.) within few minutes and also the Warschauer strasse S-bahn station with quick connection to Hauptbahnhof, Friederichsstrasse and Hackeser Markt.
There is alternatively 3 min walking distance from the apartment to the corner of Petersburger and Landsberger allé with many trams that lead to Mitte and Alexanderplatz.
For going further, e.g. the airport, there is 10 min walk to Landsberger Allé S-bahn station with the Ring line that connects fast to all neighborhoods of Berlin West, North, South and East. Excellent if you are working on a project in another hood.

This was my first time trying out AirBnB and it worked out really well. The flat was amazing! It was really spacious, light and cool, and also easy to find/get to from both the airport and Central Berlin. The area was really cool and Hulda was very helpful in answering all our questions clearly and promptly. We had a great time and I'd definitely recommend staying here to anyone.
We had a very pleasant stay! It was very clean when we arrived and everything we needed was there. Hulda responded quickly to our questions and we felt at home. The tram M10 stops right in front of the door and took us around berlin.
Die Wohnung war so wie in Huldas Beschreibung. Sauber, ordentlich und sehr gemütlich. Reibungslose Schlüsselübergabe. Gute Anbindung an Straßenbahn und S-Bahn. Alles, was man braucht, um die Ecke. Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage dort. 5 Sterne für einen sehr guten Gastgeber.
