I had a very positive stay at Ananas Hostel. Csaba gave me excellent advice on what to see in Pecs, and his wife helped me figure out which road would be best to hitch hike out of the city.
What a great place to stay.... Ananas Hostel! I love the interior.... for example the toilet doors (you have to check that out yourself!) and most of all I loved the way my hosts (a super couple that gave me good advice for things to do in Pécs) treated me! It was really relaxed with the other guests as well! I would definitely recommand this to my friends and others who want to spend time in Pécs!
Laid back and Funky, this hostel was a pleasant surprise off the beaten path but very close to the center of Pecs. This DIY hostel is run by a super cool local couple who were good company and a valuable source of information about the well kept secrets on the area. Good, quiet cozy spot. It was a great place to hang out and call home for a few days.
Marion and Csabi are the perfect hosts, very friendly, welcoming and ready to help in anything you might need. The hostel is very well located near shops and downtown. The place is truly cozy and clean, though at times rooms were a bit stuffy as the weather was extremely hot and there were no fans in the dorms.
Hope I can come back to Pécs some time in the future; I will definitely stay here again :)
